百集大型纪录片《中国通史》由央视电影频道节目中心制作出品、中国社 会科学院监制、中国社会科学院历史研究所组织 撰稿并邀请国内多家重点大学、专业机构的研究 人员共同参与创作。 为了让广大观众先行了解其面貌，并听取各 方面意见，不断提高拍摄质量，电影频道从已经 拍摄完成的作品中，选出有关魏晋南北朝到隋唐 时期的7集先行播出，1月21日至27日晚8：50， 观众将分别看到《诸葛亮治蜀》、《魏晋风 度》、《北魏孝文帝改革》、《梁武帝治国》、 《魏晋佛教》、《再造统一》和《炀帝功过》。
Our solar system was the first to attract humans and filled their souls with awe and fear. As it's the worst car in the history of the WORLD, we're on our travels ... to the North of England ... to name and shame the most rubbish car from a manufacturer which, frankly, should have known better. But, it's not all about hateful cars ... Oh no. You have to revel in some good ones to appreciate the stinkers. There's the Ferrari 458 spider, Toyota's GT86 and the £340,000 Lexus LFA rubbing shoulders with a Mercedes SLS. Our guest driver, The Stig's Yorkshire cousin, puts his whippet to one side and throws a BMW M5 round a gymkhana course before we have a go in a couple of Transatlantic challengers. Things don't go well. We spend treasured leisure time on the golf course continuing our debate. That doesn't go well either. We even put our own cars--past and present--into the reckoning. That ends badly too. We argue over the great and the awful from Peugeot, Ford, Mahindra, FSO, Alfa Romeo, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Citroen, Saab ... and many more. 江戸時代から続く、日本最大の花街、京都・祇園。わずか１キロ四方に狭い路地に、６０軒あまりのお茶屋が軒を連ね、百人を超える芸舞妓が暮らしている。日が暮れると、お座敷と呼ばれる宴会が開かれ、お茶屋に芸舞妓が吸い込まれていく。一見さんお断り。その敷居をまたぐことができるのは、ひと握りの人々である。ここで、２００年間続くお茶屋を守ってきた女性がいる。８代目の女将・太田紀美さん、７７歳である。最高のもてなしを求め、やってくる国内外のお客ひとりひとりの好みを頭に入れ、芸舞妓の手配から食事、お座敷の一切を取り仕切り、効率を度外視した「情」で客に尽くす。 太田さんのお茶屋には代々続く、家訓がある。「当主は女。結婚しないこと」。そのしきたりは、祇園で働く女性にも同じである。結婚する時はすなわち、街を出る時である。太田さんは、そのしきたりを守り、２００年の老舗を守り抜いてきた。 桜が咲き、街が最もにぎわう美しい季節に、祇園で生きることを選んだ女性たちの切なく、誇り高い物語を描く。

The Balkan Peninsula is notorious for being one of the great battlegrounds of history. And yet, it possesses another side unknown to many, where ancient forests and vast wetlands harbor pristine wilderness, and sheer cliff walls and desolate plateaus preserve a seemingly unchanged past. Surveying these striking and stark landscapes, one might think they’ve ventured into the Middle-earth of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. Indeed the Balkan Peninsula is home to a variety of regions that border on mythical. In Croatia’s Kopacki Rit Wetlands, land mines keep people away, but enable native wildlife to thrive. Further south, Montenegro’s Tara River carves through Europe’s longest and deepest canyon, and neighboring forests provide refuge to rare animals such as the Balkan Lynx. To the east, millions of birds flock to the Danube Delta to feast on swarms of mosquitoes. And at the west of the Balkans is Skadar Lake, a remarkable landscape of peaks and water. This is a journey to a world seemingly forgotten by time. This is the wild Balkans.
