百集大型纪录片《中国通史》由央视电影频道节目中心制作出品、中国社 会科学院监制、中国社会科学院历史研究所组织 撰稿并邀请国内多家重点大学、专业机构的研究 人员共同参与创作。 为了让广大观众先行了解其面貌，并听取各 方面意见，不断提高拍摄质量，电影频道从已经 拍摄完成的作品中，选出有关魏晋南北朝到隋唐 时期的7集先行播出，1月21日至27日晚8：50， 观众将分别看到《诸葛亮治蜀》、《魏晋风 度》、《北魏孝文帝改革》、《梁武帝治国》、 《魏晋佛教》、《再造统一》和《炀帝功过》。

In this one-off documentary Michael Waldman meets some of the last vestiges of this level of British aristocracy, and asks what has become of those who remain. If Camilla Osborne had been a boy, she would have inherited her father’s Dukedom, but now there is no longer a Duke of Leeds. The Duke and Duchess of St Albans don’t have a stately pile, but do have their coronets and coronation robes. One of the few Dukes to still sit in the House of Lords, The Eighth Duke of Montrose (pictured) is a hill farmer by trade. He continues the family tradition of being intimately involved in the political relationship between Scotland and England. The Duchess of Rutland was determined to make Belvoir Castle an efficient business, living onsite in one wing, with her estranged husband the Duke living in another. Their elder teen daughters are prepared for when the title is passed down to their younger brother. Whilst at Blenheim Palace, Lady Rosemary Spencer Churchill, daughter of the 10th Duke of Marlborough, revisits her childhood home. Her nephew succeeded to the title only recently and it’s a rather a different Blenheim to the one she remembers.

it was announced in September 2023, with another four episodes planned for the series, continuing to follow the officers from a South Carolina sheriff's department as they search for missing people. The second season will document more troubling cases and mysteries in the South Carolina area.
