百集大型纪录片《中国通史》由央视电影频道节目中心制作出品、中国社 会科学院监制、中国社会科学院历史研究所组织 撰稿并邀请国内多家重点大学、专业机构的研究 人员共同参与创作。 为了让广大观众先行了解其面貌，并听取各 方面意见，不断提高拍摄质量，电影频道从已经 拍摄完成的作品中，选出有关魏晋南北朝到隋唐 时期的7集先行播出，1月21日至27日晚8：50， 观众将分别看到《诸葛亮治蜀》、《魏晋风 度》、《北魏孝文帝改革》、《梁武帝治国》、 《魏晋佛教》、《再造统一》和《炀帝功过》。

In 2007 Banksy goes to Palestine to paint on walls. Someone takes offense at a piece depicting an Israeli soldier checking a donkey's ID. A local taxi driver decides to cut it off and sell it back to the West. This is the story of the Palestinian perspective and reaction to street art through the work of its most celebrated hero. The story of an illegal black market of art stolen from streets around the world, cultures clashing in the face of an unsustainable political situation and finally of the changing perception on street art. It is not one story, but many. For two years BBC cameras have followed, Dr Sheperd Doeleman of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and the work of the Event Horizon Telescope project team, a collective of the top scientific minds from around the world. The project combines radio observatories and telescope facilities from around the world to make up a virtual telescope with a diameter spanning the entire planet. This mega-telescope’s ultimate mission is to capture the first image ever of a black hole. Although the concept of black holes has been long assumed to be fact, the Event Horizon Telescope’s success would definitively prove the existence of this scientific phenomena for the first time – and provide clear visual evidence. The programme brings viewers into the laboratories, behind the computer screens and beside the telescopes of what may prove to be one of the great astrophysical achievements in human history.
