每一道意式料理，都有「意料」之外的故事！意大利「地膽」兼星級大廚林紋蔚(Amy)帶著吳兆麟(Alan)，在美食之國意大利進行一場「搵食」真人騷，實地考察各種食材由產地送至食客嘴邊的過程！每集會聚焦不同食材，如魚子醬、雞蛋、蜂蜜……Amy帶Alan到農場、鱘魚養殖場、果園……打工，親身體驗食材育成或釀製的過程，還造訪不同餐廳，品嚐以特定食材炮製的特色菜，發掘食材背後的故事，及「意料」之外的人情味！
