以系列纪实故事反映公益主题的纪录片《真情来电》在上海电影节展映，制片人孙健君介绍，影片借鉴了《纽约我爱你》开创的由不同风格的大师导演联手完成一部命题影片的形式，云集了陆川、张一白、章家瑞、杜海滨、黄睿、张自立几位导演，由7个独立的故事组成。纪实公益影片《真情来电》10月7日电影频道首播 影片组成的7个短片平均每部约十多分钟，从不同侧面、角度、地域展现了各群体、各年龄层的中国人之间的亲情、爱情和友情。孙健君表示，由于该片是以公益为主题，总投资也仅有几百万元，采用的大多是非职业演员，参与该片的导演们也都是不计报酬，因此也赋予了导演们充分的自由创作空间。不过孙健君坦言，这类题材影片的市场前景并不乐观，所以将主要依靠海外发行，此次也是想通过上影节的展映了解观众的反响，如果效果不错才会考虑在国内发行上映。 该片创作源于为电信日拍摄的公益电影，其中也有中国移动的赞助。对于这一难免的广告植入，孙建君则表示影片“很干净”：“原本只有一句中国移动的台词，也被他们的掌门人王建宙自己删掉了。因为他觉得影片描写了整个电信行业的价值———为人类的沟通所作出的贡献，他为此已经很满意、很感动了，不想破坏影片的公益性质而使之变成广告。”
