　　What do the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, the Thirty Years’ War and the Renaissance have in common? For one, they were all starkly affected by extreme weather conditions. Indeed, if we take a fresh look at human history in the light of Earth’s volatile climate, we can expose hidden parallels, draw surprising conclusions and explain bizarre historical conundrums.
　　This two-parter combines natural sciences and history, a journey from the Big Bang to Iceland’s volcanoes – a gripping narrative that explores little-known connections between the Earth’s climate and major historical events.
　　Are these extremes of weather really a 21st-century phenomenon? Or has climate determined the fate of humanity ever since amphibians took their first steps on terra firma?

　　这部极致辉煌的电影是由著名导演Cameron Crowe创作，以回顾乐队的事业历程为主题，记录了Pearl Jam乐队这20年来的心路历程及发展经过。电影包含了Pearl Jam乐队这20年来每位成员的成长经过、台前幕后的故事，以及乐队的一些最珍贵的回忆，还有一些大家从未听说过和见过的画面以及采访内容。

　　In celebration of her upcoming new album Hymn, best-selling soprano Sarah Brightman is in cinemas with an incredible performance. HYMN: Sarah Brightman In Concert was captured live for the big screen from the Festspielhaus in the enchanted Bavarian Alps, known for the historic and captivating Neuschwanstein Castle.
　　Staged in two acts, the 90-minute performance is a hybrid of a musical film, a classical-crossover program and a large-scale concert production. Brightman is accompanied by her band, the Bavarian Philharmonic orchestra, a 50-voice choir and the Ludwig Ensemble of dancers. The concert was conceived and created by Sarah Brightman, Anthony Von Laast, and Frank Peterson.

　　虽然该真人秀4月26号才开播，但是前期海选和制作已经开始，短短的预告片吊足了观众的胃口，《The Voice》的规则与我们熟悉的传统的歌唱类真人秀《美国偶像》和《The X Factor》存在明显的区别。四位大腕明星教练：流行天后Christina Aguilera，黑人嘻哈歌手Cee-Lo Green，摇滚乐队魔力红（Maroon 5）的主唱Adam Levine以及乡村歌手Blake Shelton将为美国找到下一个超赞声音。其实更吸引我们的还是独树一帜的比赛规则：海选阶段教练将背对选手，凭借声音遴选自己的队员（相中后按键自己的椅子转过来，如果多位教练都转了过来，则由队员选教练），经过“调教”之后，再经过各种环节一角雌雄。

　　继《幸存者：卡加延》之后，再次以“体力v智力v美丽”为主题的一季，比赛地点是柬埔寨的瓜隆岛(Koh Rong)。

In 1943, a 24-year-old maths student and a GPO engineer combined to hack into Hitler's personal super-code machine - not Enigma but an even tougher system, which he called his 'secrets writer'. Their break turned the Battle of Kursk, powered the D-day landings and orchestrated the end of the conflict in Europe. But it was also to be used during the Cold War - which meant both men's achievements were hushed up and never officially recognised.
