　　这是一个微缩版的虫虫世界。每个故事的主角都是小昆虫，在5分钟的时间里，通篇没有一句语言和对白，以纪录片的风格描述虫虫们的生态环境，同时又演绎出了生动幽默的故事来。爱欺负人的瓢虫、遵守交通规则的蜜蜂、喊口令成群出动的蚂蚁们、坚持不懈滚着方形便便球的屎壳郎、幻想能快速飞驰的蜗牛、破茧成蝶的可爱毛毛虫等等，这些小昆虫的形象不仅让人眼前一亮，而且个性鲜明，也让观众看起来津津乐道……
　　Minuscule系列一共只出版了三张DVD，也是两个年轻法国艺术家Thomas Szabo和Hélène Giraud的优秀动画作品集。其中，场景和声音效果都是采用现实中真实的东西，而小昆虫和小动物则是用三维动画技术设计出来的，不光小孩子们非常喜欢，也俘获了大人们的喜爱。该系列作品曾获得2007年所有年龄组最佳电视系列片（Best TV series for all ages）的Pulcinella奖。

　　为了让广大观众先行了解其面貌，并听取各方面意见，不断提高拍摄质量，电影频道从已经拍摄完成的作品中，选出有关魏晋南北朝到隋唐时期的7集先行播出，1月21日至27日晚8：50，观众将分别看到《诸葛亮治蜀》、《魏晋风度》、《北魏孝文帝改革》、《梁武帝治国》、《魏晋佛教》、《再造统一》和《炀帝功过》。
