　　Dan Stark（Bradley Whitford扮演，《白宫西翼》）曾是达拉斯城里无人不知的大侦探。三十年后，Dan的那些「英雄事迹」早已被人们遗忘，再没有人把他当成英雄，甚至没有人记得他的名字。Dan只能整天借酒消愁，在浑浑噩噩中回顾自己那段光辉岁月。
　　Dan的新搭档Jack Bailey侦探（Colin Hanks，《广告狂人》、《数字追凶》）是个有抱负、守规矩、很有前途的年轻人，但有时管不住自己的脾气，在局里得罪了很多人，以至于谁都不愿意和他搭档。也正是因为如此，他哪也不能去，只能乖乖地做自己的小侦探。这对他来说不知是件好事还是件坏事－－和Dan在一起，他时来运转的机会悄然来临了。
　　Jack唯一的真心朋友是地区检察官的助手Liz Townsend（Jenny Wade，《恶魔猎人》），同时也是他的前女友。Jack并没有忘记他们之间的感情，工作中一遇到麻烦，他还是会不由自主地去找Liz倾述。上司Ana Ruiz（Diana Maria Riva，《灵书妙探》）则是Jack和Dan的「死对头」，把他俩同时调到没有出头之日的「财产犯罪处」去工作－－也许只有处理小偷小摸的案件，这对麻烦鬼才不会给警察局惹大麻烦。
　　Fox预订这部剧集主要是为了对抗在夏季电视市场上唱主角的有线电视网，尤其是USA（《Burn Notice》、《Royal Pains》）、TNT（《Leverage》）等。Fox的总裁称：「只要我们有好的节目，观众就没理由选择看《Burn Notice》这样的剧集而不看我们的剧集了。」

　　《波士顿法律》不是那么传统的剧集，它是著名法律剧the practice的延伸，但却迅速找到了自己的位置。讲述律师事务所里的众生相以及审判室的诡计和兄弟会男孩的滑稽剧boston legal今年在金球奖最扬眉吐气的，首推以「Boston Legal」拿下影集类最佳男配角的威廉薛特纳，薛特纳过去最让人记得的角色就是《星际旅行:原初系列》(Star Trek:TOS)里的舰长Kirk。

　　什么改变了？什么没有？如果你结束了，这是否意味着它结束了？三年后，Mitchell依然是世界上另一个我，连发胖都一样。可惜我依然没有同前任讲和，也没有可爱的新男友。

　　美国纽约长岛住着这样一家人。父亲杰森•西弗（艾伦•锡克饰）是一位心理医生。为了支持妻子玛姬•马龙•西弗（乔安娜•柯恩斯饰）重新回到记者的工作岗位，杰森毅然决定将心理诊所搬到自己的家里。而这样，他也有了更多的时间与他的三个孩子相处：15岁的大儿子迈克（柯克•卡梅隆饰）是十足的捣蛋鬼，不务正业的他经常让家里感到烦恼；14岁的二女儿凯萝（特蕾茜•格尔德饰）是优等生，但学习优秀的她似乎有些不食人间烟火；小儿子本（杰瑞米•米勒饰）是机灵鬼，有时与大人一样成熟的他实际还是一个9岁的孩子。杰森提倡的启发式教育，在这个家庭起到了极大的作用，一家人和睦相处。爱与成长的故事伴随着欢笑，这就是西弗一家的故事，成长的烦恼。

　　USA有线台先前直接预定了10集新剧《目击者 Eyewitness》。该剧是根据挪威的犯罪惊悚小说Øyevitne改编。改剧由《警魂 Shades of Blue》的创作人Adi Hasak打造，同时他也会是该剧的编剧和制片人。Catherine Hardwicke负责执导。
　　《目击者Eyewitness》讲述的是两个无知的青少年兼情侣（其中一人由Tyler Young饰演）在丛林里目睹了一场枪击事件，且从枪击事件中死里逃生的故事。尽管他们一直死守着这个秘密以防犯罪分子找到他们，但却发现他们所看到的情景一直萦绕在他们的脑海里挥之不去。
　　Tyler Young饰演Philip O’Brien，是个感性的年轻男孩，见识过不少痛苦的事。他原本在平和的小镇里，准备与养母Helen重过新生活，而且他还爱上同校的男生Lukas，但目击到枪击事件改变了一切。
　　Julianne Nicholson则饰演养母Helen Torrance，曾经在大城市中当凶杀案警探。她抛开自己那令人难受的工作，并成为小镇警长及贤淑的妻子；然而枪击事件重新揭开她过去的心灵创伤，而且同时她还面对一件同样艰难的任务：照顾领养的Philip。
　　《得州崛起 Texas Rising》的James Paxton饰演Lukas Hallenbeck，他像个已获得一切的青少年，包校园括人气﹑炫酷的越野摩托车﹑全校最性感的女生等，但在这表面下，他一直被自己的性取向所困扰。当他遇上Philip后，他终于接受了自己的性取向，并跟他成为情侣，直至他们目击到枪击事件。
　　《升天 Ascension》主演Gil Bellows饰演正派﹑正直的兽医Gabe，他对Helen那种带自毁倾向，因为领养﹑凶杀案而面临破碎婚姻的生活感到同情；另外Tattiawna Jones以循环角色身份加盟，饰演Kamilah，一个不轻言认错的FBI探员，发现自己因为案件而夹在工作及身陷麻烦的妹妹之间。
　　Matt Murray加盟饰演循环角色，副警长Tony Michaels，他是警长Helen的左右手，能够良好管理他负责的警区。
　　挪威的原版小说《目击者Eyewitness》在剧情上惊悚恐怖，不仅揭露了犯罪细节，还揭晓了目击者自身的秘密。挪威的原版剧集去年在NRK Drama播出过，Anneke von der Lippe凭借剧中的女警探角色赢得了International Emmy最佳女演员奖。

　　1956年的伦敦，适逢匈牙利十月事件与苏伊士运河危机，时事栏目「焦点时刻」团队试图揭露一桩隐秘而危险的阴谋。
