　　国家地理频道11月26日将播出一小时特别节目，《跟随詹姆斯·卡梅隆探寻20年后的泰坦尼克号》( Titanic: 20 Years Later with James Cameron，暂译)。泰坦尼克号的发现者罗伯特·巴拉德将和卡梅隆，通过33次深潜所得到的数据和残骸，重新分析这艘巨轮沉默的真相，并有望推翻之前对这艘巨轮的推断。

　　这一集从17世纪初苏格兰新教徒殖民贝尔法斯特讲起，至1798年爱尔兰人联合会起义失败收尾。是爱尔兰历史上一段天主教势力瓦解，新教徒掌权的故事。200年里，爱尔兰历经两次天主教起义，天主教权贵下台后的100多年新教统治和一次天主教徒和新教徒的联合起义，成为了诸如克伦威尔，威廉三世，詹姆斯二世这些叱咤风云的历史人物的舞台。短短2个世纪里，各种事件此起彼伏，各种矛盾交织，各种团体林立，各种关系错综复杂，令人眼花缭乱。
