　　本季前期拍摄时，剧中一贯以来的领头人Hotch因为和编剧的冲突被剧组开除，因此只会出现在本季前两集。为了弥补主角的离开，CBS将引入两名新角色，同时把Emily的扮演者Paget Brewster提升为本季常规演员，同时Reid母亲的扮演者Jane Lynch也会在十二季回归。
