　　Set in an uncanny future — or perhaps a slightly alternate present where cellphone technology is nowhere to be found — Anna and her partner Ryan have achieved every couple’s dream: they are in possession of a document certifying their true love. Their comfortable if somewhat mundane life, however, leaves Anna questioning their successful love test, administered by placing their extracted fingernails into a cutting-edge machine. Anna soon begins working for the Love Institute under the tutelage of Duncan (Luke Wilson), which, in addition to determining a couples’ status via the mysterious test, trains them to deepen bonds. There, she’s paired with the experienced — and devastatingly charming — Amir to take couples at various stages of relationships through a series of love-building activities before the big test. As the new colleagues work to ameliorate the connections of clients, Anna begins to wonder if perhaps Amir is her one true love and if trusting her own feelings is a more reliable metric than what is determined by a machine.

       杨先生（易烊千玺 饰）是Memory酒店的管家，他带领4位不同身份的神秘客人去到不同房间，体验了一次奇妙的记忆旅程。

　　斯科特·米勒（尼克·莱德 Nic Rhind 饰）大学时代曾像很多年轻人一样放荡不羁，他也因此受到处罚。在此期间，故乡华盛顿夏保福镇的女友杰西（Robyn Ledoux 饰）被父母强迫，与米勒分手。两年后，物是人非，米勒和杰西再次相遇，只能感叹有缘无份。此时米勒已经有了新的女友莉迪娅（Marina Pasqua 饰）。这是一个轻浮放荡的女子，她在鲨鱼俱乐部狂欢，最后惨死在洗手间内。偏巧目睹这一场面的米勒被当作杀人凶手，受到通缉。

　　当一艘外星飞船降落在附近时，杰西卡醒来。在派遣一对年轻夫妇后，外星人以新派遣的年轻人的身份出现。杰西卡和她的占有欲强烈的情人约瑟芬邀请“安德斯”进来当他看起来受伤的时候。很快，杰西卡开始怀疑约瑟芬的专横跋扈，更多地依靠外星人的支持，但他在地球上的目的仍不清楚。

　　丈夫过世之后，哈珀（杰西巴克利 饰）来到一处美丽的英国乡村疗伤，然而，这里的树林中似乎有某人或某物在跟踪她，这些潜藏在她心中隐约的恐惧，随着时间逐渐转变成具体的恶梦……

　　In the not too distant future, a very smoggy and overpopulated Earth government makes it illegal to have children for a generation. One couple, unsatisfied with their substitute robot baby, breaks the rules and gets in a lot of trouble. (Z.P.G. stands for Zero Population Growth).

       女督察谢玲在查案时殉职，男友祖伤心欲绝。科学家沙拉认为行凶者山本拥有机械的躯壳，于是暗中把谢玲改造成机械人，又派机械助手安妮利用美色引诱山本。谢玲虽复活，但祖苦缠令她思想混乱，令机械躯壳的战斗力大减……

　　Eric Braeden stars as Dr. Charles Forbin, who has created a supercomputer named Colossus, built solely for the purpose of controlling the nuclear defenses of the Western alliance. It isn't too long after, however, that the Russians announce that they too have built a similar computer for those same purposes on their side--Guardian. And when the two machines begin sharing information at a speed nobody can believe, an attempt is made to disable them.
　　This unfortunately just raises the machines' ire; and in retaliation, they launch their weapons at each other's home nations. The result is a chilling scenario that is potentially becoming all too real these days.
　　COLOSSUS: THE FORBIN PROJECT was not a big hit at the box office for various reasons. One is that its cast wasn't exactly well known. Another reason is that its ending isn't exactly a happy one. Still a third reason is that Universal had trouble trying to promote it in the wake of the huge success of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY. The latter reason is obvious: Colossus and Guardian, like HAL in the Kubrick movie, become central characters here. The difference here is that while HAL malfunctions due to a programming conflict, Colossus and Guardian remain all too stable, convinced beyond a doubt that they know how to protect Mankind better than Man himself. As the computers point out: "One inevitable rule is that Mankind is his own worst enemy."
　　Joseph Sargent's direction is efficient, and the special effects work of Albert Whitlock still manages to work despite its obvious age. An overlooked gem in the sci-fi genre, this should be given a revival.
