　　前模特兼杂志社老板格洛丽亚自嫁给富商后便隐退江湖，然而丈夫的意外去世使她一蹶不振，直至一年后才重返杂志界，可伴随着她回归的是一连桩血腥命案，杂志的封面模特接连死亡，在凶手眼中她们似容貌可憎的怪物，在残忍杀戮后，他总会将尸体摆放在格洛丽亚的海报前拍摄照片并将其寄给格洛丽亚，这让她整日惶恐不安，担心自己成为下一个被害者。这究竟是生意对手的死亡威胁，还是潜伏在身边的杀人魔所为？格洛丽亚将凭借她的巨乳...不，是智慧寻找答案。

　　该片由拉齐·马凯执导，贾里德·巴特勒、拉尔斯·诺伯格编剧，约翰·库萨克、埃拉·科尔特兰([少年时代])领衔主演。讲述一个狡诈的商人(约翰·库萨克饰)意外误丢脏款，被三个年轻人捡到。

　　某市市中心的双子大厦，有着姣好面容却冷漠刻薄的房地产销售主管应佳（刘青 饰）边打电话便走进电梯。这时一通电话打了进来，刚刚还是甜美笑容的她在得知对方身份后马上变了一副嘴脸，冷冰冰地回绝了对方。就在此时，电梯突然剧烈颤抖，操作电路板上的数字陷入混乱状态。随着巨大的轰鸣，应佳的电梯直直坠落了下去。原来双子大厦不知因为何故倒塌，一切陷入混乱。当应佳醒来时，发现自己被困在变形的电梯间内，她好不容易找到受损的工作电话，尝试打电话求援。而在求援的过程中，她突然想不起自己究竟是谁。根据接听电话的人提供的线索，她些许拼凑出关于自己的信息。
　　与此同时，废墟附近好像有什么可怕的怪兽在接近……

　　韦斯利（鲍沃斯·布斯 Powers Boothe 饰）是一名探员，最近，他正在调查一宗名为“上帝之手”的恶性连环杀人案件，一个名叫芬顿（马修·麦康纳 Matthew McConaughey 饰）的神秘男人找到了韦斯利，并告诉他自己知道整个案件的来龙去脉，让韦斯利感到震惊的是，如果事实真的如芬顿所言，那么凶手不是别人，正是芬顿那已经自杀的弟弟亚当（杰瑞米·桑普特 Jeremy Sumpter 饰）。韦斯利跟随芬顿来到了亚当的墓前，在那里，芬顿向韦斯利讲述了他和亚当的过往。
　　原来，一切事件起源于兄弟两人的父亲梅克斯（比尔·帕克斯顿 Bill Paxton 饰），他告诉两兄弟自己遇见了天使，这位天使给了他一份名单，名单上记载的都是化身为人类的恶魔，而梅克斯要做的，就是将他们一一杀死。对于父亲的话，亚当信以为真，而芬顿却察觉到了其中的疯狂，两人的命运自此走上了截然不同的道路。

　　故事讲述了商人伯莫死亡，推测他的死因是由于飞机失事，他的妻子丽萨因此发财。保险公司开始对此事进行调查的时候，他们开始怀疑丽萨。他们派出调查员彼得去确定丽萨说的是否属实。后来丽萨死亡，保险金不见，一个又一个的人因此受害，大家将会看到调查员彼得将如何完成自己的任务。

　　A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?

　　A group of teenagers spends the night in a furniture store for a graduation party. A psycho killer starts to hunt them down and kill them off.

　　"Wild in the Streets" comes from the same school of film making that spawned other attempts to connect to the counterculture such as "Skidoo" and "Candy". The difference between this and the aforementioned films is that "Wild in the Streets" is reasonably clever and well-made. It isn't sympathetic to the counterculture and will likely offend those with fond memories of the time. Surprisingly, it was a big hit when released and appealed to the youth whom it ridiculed so much. Unlike "The Trip" and "Psych-Out" (two other AIP films), its not an accurate representation of the movement at all. However it does work as social satire.
　　The direction by Barry Shear is good and makes innovative use of split screen photography. Plus, he keeps everything moving at a quick pace. In its funny moments, the film works well. In its attempts at drama, its helplessly dated and just as funny as the humorous moments. Christopher Jones underplays his role and Shelly Winters overacts. Hal Holbrook offers the best performance and Diane Varsi achieves the right note of "grooviness". The script by Robert Thom has its moments, especially the ending (easily the most ingenious part of the film). "Wild in the Streets" isn't perfect, but deserves recognition as an interesting misunderstanding of the hallucination generation. Those into this kind of kitsch will enjoy it the most. I'd rather watch "The Trip" or "Psych-Out" however. (6/10)
