Robert Thorogood adapts his own novels alongside Lucia Haynes (“Vera”) and Julia Gilbert (“Midsomer Murders”), each of whom will write a two-episode murder mystery. Thorogood’s episodes will be an adaptation of his second novel, “Death Comes to Marlow” while Haynes and Gilbert are set to pen brand new stories.

　　The beautiful English countryside is the setting for more mysteries featuring the charismatic clergyman sleuth.
　　Based on the classic character created by GK Chesterton. The quaint Cotswolds are abuzz with dastardly intrigue. Father Brown’s new ally is a playwright priest who’s written the perfect murder. But is art imitating death? There’s medieval murder at a battle re-enactment, a new nemesis lurking in the shadows and an old one who’s not quite as we remember him. And there are wedding bells for Chief Inspector Sullivan—until the secret is out that he’s not the real sleuth of the parish.
　　It’s now 1955 and Chief Inspector Sullivan and Mrs Devine have grown closer since we saw them last – something that hasn’t escaped the notice of Father Brown and Brenda. With a food fayre to die for, a real-life crime at a crime writing festival and a village rivalry that turns deadly, there’s plenty for the gang to be busy with. And when his old friend Sister Boniface is implicated in a murder at an arts and craft fair, Father Brown must prove her innocence – before it’s too late.

　　BBC Two announces that shooting has begun on series two of detective comedy Vexed, starring Toby Stephens (Jane Eyre, Robin Hood, Cambridge Spies) who reprises his role as D.I. Jack Armstrong, paired with Miranda Raison (Spooks, Merlin, Married Single Other) who plays newly promoted D.I. Georgina Dixon.
　　Vexed is being filmed in Dublin, Eire, and comprises six 60-minute episodes to air later this year. The series is created by Howard Overman (Misfits) with episodes written by Chris Bucknall, James Wood, Steve Coombes and Harry & Jack Williams.
　　Also returning from series one are Roger Griffiths (Holby City, Chef) and Ronny Jhutti (Survivors, Ideal) with Nick Dunning (The Iron Lady, The Tudors) joining to play Georgina’s father.
　　D.I. Jack Armstrong (Stephens) has a new partner in the shape of D.I. Georgina Dixon (Raison). Armstrong is charming, disorganised and prone to laziness so it comes as no surprise that sparks fly when he’s partnered with the ambitious and highly efficient Dixon. Jack’s best friend, café-owner and ex-cop Tony (Griffiths) and colleague Naz (Jhutti) complete the crime solving team. Episode one sees the duo tackle the murder of a cocky car salesman, but things are not quite as they seem.
　　Chris Sussman, Executive Producer for the BBC, says: "We're very much looking forward to the return of Vexed. The second series promises to be just as much fun as the first, and with Miranda Raison joining Toby Stephens as new partner D.I. Dixon, we're hoping it's going to be all guns blazing."
　　Jill Green, Executive Producer, Eleventh Hour Films, adds: “In a recession we need shows that make us laugh, and that’s where Vexed fits in - a perfectly distinctive ‘yin yang’ take on modern day life.”
　　Vexed has been commissioned by Cheryl Taylor, Controller of Comedy Commissioning and Janice Hadlow, Controller of BBC Two.
　　It is an Eleventh Hour Films production, executive producers are Chris Sussman for the BBC and Jill Green for Eleventh Hour Films. Produced by Eve Gutierrez for Eleventh Hour Films and Directed by Ian FitzGibbon (eps 1-3) and Kieron J. Walsh (eps 4-6).

　　该剧为BBC在2001—2003年间播出的一套以谋杀案为主题的系列剧，由Anthony Horowitz担任创造者，共三季23集，每集一个主角，讲述的故事会涉及至少一起谋杀案，有的故事在一开始就告知观众凶手，重点在于刻画凶手由清白到产生杀机再到实行谋杀直至最后被捕或逃脱的内心世界变化（Teacher、Rage、Stalker），有的故事则暗藏玄机，重在最后出人意料的情节逆转，逆转点包括凶手身份（Victim、Flame、Swan Song）、手法（Mercy）、受害者（Sleeper）、作案动机（Motive）、尸体下落（Cornershop）等多个元素。

　　根据畅销吸血鬼小说《南方吸血鬼》（Southern Vampire）改编。
　　人们害怕吸血鬼的时代已经过去，如今是变成吸血鬼害怕人类。在路易斯安纳州的小镇Bon Temps上，电视谈话节目日日讨论到底要不要让吸血鬼合法权益通过，赞成的人和反对的人态度一样激烈。吸血鬼不需要再通过吸人血或者是动物的血来维生，而是去购买由日本人出产的——真血（true blood）。
　　我们的女主角Sookie Stackhouse（Anna Paquin 饰）是小镇上普通的女招待，她不普通的地方在于她能听见人们心底的话音，这个特异功能不但让她备受困扰，更令她数次恋爱失败。当她与Bill Compton（Stephen Moyer饰）相遇时，她惊喜地发现她听不见对方内心的声音！Bill 是一个吸血鬼，吸血鬼的社会地位不高让他每次出现都好像一个异类，只有善良天真的Sookie从不用异样目光看待他……本片妙趣横生，对吸血鬼这个弱势群体进行了生动的描摹。

　　A comedy trivia quiz based around pop music, originally hosted by Mark Lamarr up to October 2006, currently hosted by Simon Amstell. Te am  captains Phil Jupitus and Bill Bailey (who replaced Sean Hughes in May 2002) are joined each week by different music stars. Popular rounds include one where team members have to identify song intros hummed to them and another where a bygone music star has to be picked out of a line-up of lookalikes.
