　　'In Vitro' is an otherworldly rumination on memory, history, place and identity. Set in Bethlehem decades after an ecological-disaster, the dying founder of a subterranean orchard is engaged in a dialogue with her young successor, who was born underground and has never seen the town she's destined to replant and repopulate. Inherited trauma, exile and collective memory are central themes.

　　12岁女孩子奥菲丽娅（伊万娜•巴克尔洛 饰）有一个凶暴的法西斯军官继父维达（塞吉•洛佩兹 饰），维达的任务就是镇压反抗者，研究各种刑具来折磨残害被抓来的异见人士，奥菲丽娅每天都目睹让人不愉快的事件。眼看着冷酷的继父和其党羽每日作恶还以此为乐，母亲又身怀六甲患病在床，被孤独感和目睹暴行的痛苦困扰的奥菲丽娅开始沉浸在自己的幻想中聊以自慰。
　　一天，奥菲丽娅遇到了迷宫的守护者，潘神（道格•琼斯 饰）。潘神告诉她，她其实是奇幻王国失踪的公主，要想恢复身份，必须通过三个危险的考验。

　　该片讲述了一个因污染而导致蜘蛛变异，大自然对人们进行惩罚的故事。
　　工厂为了减少排污费用，偷偷将废料埋在深山里，却不知因为泄漏造成附近的蜘蛛变异。一天，工厂的工人正在将废料堆在地上，企业家看了现场后离开，就在工人挖坑埋掉废料桶时，却意外频发，一开始都只是虚惊一场。但是突然窜出了一只因长期废料变异的巨大的蜘蛛，和密密麻麻的小蜘蛛。

　　In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago.
