他们平均81岁，心里却住着18岁的梦， 而且他们可以用一辈子的经验告诉你：只要有梦，就有奇迹！ 17个老人当中，2位曾罹患癌症、4位需要戴助听器、5位有高血压、8位有心脏疾病、每一位都有关节退化的毛病。然而，他们却梦想征服福尔摩沙，在八十多岁的秋天，再次感受这片共生了一辈子的土地。 决定跨上欧兜迈那一剎那，挑战才正式开始：他们面对家人的反对、高龄考照、老化身体功能障碍，以及1139公里漫漫征途中的风雨、坍方等各种严峻考验。出发前一天，团长甚至胃溃疡复发，血红素持续下降…他要如何带领不老骑士们，完成梦寐的里程呢？ 「不老骑士-2008抢先版」新闻资料： 有一天，当你八十岁，还有多少做梦的勇气？不老骑士说，走，我们骑欧兜迈环台去。 为推动活跃老化，鼓励老人心中有梦，再创生命价值，2007年11月13日~25日弘道老人福利基金会举办了「挑战八十、超越千里~不老骑士欧兜迈环台日记」活动，在不老骑士赖清炎团长登高一呼：「人老了不是就没有用，不要让年轻人看不起老伙啊！」之下，17位平均年龄81岁的不老骑士，决定完成欧兜迈环台创举，实践了前所未见的不老精神。基金会并于活动进行期间也筹拍了纪录片、委由旋转牧马多媒体工作室拍摄制作，并在长片正式与观众见面之前，于去年秋抢先完成了「不老骑士-2008抢先版」纪录短片，举行了多次首映会。 在这部纪录短片当中，不老骑士活泼逗趣的互动与对话颠覆了一般人对老人的印象，让首映现场笑声不断，而一个个扣人心弦又激励人心的真实情节感动现场观众，也让本片获得新闻局电影短片辅导金一百万元的支持与肯定。纪录片导演华天灏表示：「懂事以后很少跟爷爷聊天，也从没想过会拍一部跟老人有关的纪录片。这次和不老骑士长达半年的拍摄相处，他们天真可爱的一面、满满的人情味、丰富的人生经历以及对于圆梦的坚持与努力，都是让我记忆深刻的。很荣幸在我27岁的时候，能拍一部81岁的真实感人故事。」为了带给更多人更多的梦想及感动，从去年9月起到12月止，弘道老人福利基金会与不老骑士们带着这部「不老骑士-2008抢先版」纪录短片，展开全台巡回首映会，接到的巡回分享会热情邀约也破百场，期能藉此鼓励不管任何年龄都有做梦、圆梦的权利和能力。
