　　《成长的烦恼》是美国1985年至1992年间收视率最高的情景喜剧（sitcom）。它至今仍在中国的电视荧屏上播放。西佛一家人乐天豁达的性格给观众留下难忘的印象。该剧的演员阵容曾被制作人迈克尔·沙利文誉为“A级阵容”。作为80年代新兴起的以家庭为主轴的情景喜剧的代表作，《成长的烦恼》成功的向我们展现了一个美国郊区的多子女家庭的幸福生活。《成长的烦恼》的拍摄开始于1985年，结束于1992年。最早由美国广播电视公司于1985年9月24日开始放映。《成长的烦恼》的真实拍摄版本无疑与初始的剧本有些差距，这是演员的即兴表演造成的，而且作为一个情景喜剧，他也并没有始终保持他令人欢笑的特色，甚至穿插了几集悲剧，但这并不妨碍它成为当时最受欢迎的电视节目之一。无论如何，它是一部十分成功的电视剧，不仅在美国创下了收视率的纪录，还出口了数个国家，甚至左右了它之后的电视情景喜剧的发展方向。自从国内有了上海电视台译制版本以后，成长的烦恼就不断的在全国各地的电视台里播放，它不仅仅受到中小学生的欢迎，而且还倍受大学生和青年人的喜爱，应该说，成长的烦恼伴随了一代人的成长。播放历史： 《成长的烦恼》由华纳兄弟公司出品，最早是在美国广播电视公司放映。它的拍摄历程分为七段，共166集。《成长的烦恼》有着为数众多的观众，据调查，它的收视率在1987和1988两年达到顶峰，成为美国“最受欢迎的电视”的第五名。

　　由英国BBC出品的同志题材影片《美丽曲线》改编自阿兰·霍灵赫斯特获得布克奖的同名小说，以1983－1988撒切尔夫人连任英国首相时期为背景，以写实的手法，通过对青年尼克·盖斯特的描写进而刻画了当时英国社会的变迁。

　　2014年5月5日，不死小强又要回来了！福克斯酝酿数年的《24小时》电影版最终变成这样一部迷你剧，作为剧迷来说未尝不是件好事，因为12个小时迷你剧远比两个小时的电影过瘾多了；而且，如果迷你剧获得成功，还有可能使得系列重启，将来会有第十季。继包小强逃离纽约之后，飘扬过海来到了英国，迷你剧将在伦敦展开。昔日的国防部长James Heller已经登上美总统宝座，此次出访英国，受到恐怖分子威胁，而销声匿迹多时的Jack Bauer感受到使命召唤，也将再度出马。不过CTU的分店还没有开到英国，就目前消息来看，此次的与恐怖分子对抗的机构应该是CIA中央情报局。
