阿曼达·伯顿在《沉默的证人》25周年纪念中再次出演山姆·瑞恩一角。

1996年，阿曼达第一次出演病理学家山姆·瑞恩(Sam Ryan)，一共主演了54集。2004年，她的角色回到北爱尔兰与家人团聚，阿曼达离开了剧组。
