　　《副本》改编自理查德·K·摩根的经典科幻小说，由 Skydance Television 制作。艾莉森·查普克、莱塔·卡罗格里迪斯、詹姆斯·米德尔顿、罗丝·拉姆、布拉德利·J·费希尔、詹姆斯·范德比尔特、迈克·麦达沃伊、阿诺德·W·梅瑟以及来自 Skydance 的大卫·埃里森、达娜·戈德堡和马西·罗斯共同担任该剧的监制。

　　《噩梦工厂》（又名：梦魇幻境录）是根据著名惊悚小说家史蒂芬•金（Stephen King）的短篇作品拍摄而成的8集迷你剧，史蒂芬本人担任编剧。

玛丽娜·基罗加，一个勇敢的上层阶级女孩与一个侦探的灵魂，出发去抓住连环杀手，一直恐吓她的城镇与她忠实的管家赫克托的帮助。

　　第三季发生在种族、宗教和地狱之轮小镇居民之间矛盾冲突更加鲜明、激烈和丰富，还多了主要角色间的幽默互动，再加上潇洒的男性人物、绮丽的风光、善恶对立等传统西部片元素，终于脱离了前两季空洞抒情的套路，无论是观赏性还是剧本质量都是极大的提升。

　　NBC过去拿下电影《绝地战警2 Bad Boys II》角色Sydney “Syd” Burnett的个人衍生剧试映集《洛城战警 L.A.’s Finest》，但该项目最终没被预订。但是经过制片公司Sony Pictures电视部门的销售后，《洛城战警》以13集首季被有线台Spectrum收归旗下，预定美国时间5月13日首播。
　　在《绝地战警2》中饰演Syd一角的演员是Gabrielle Union，剧集版将由她继续演出。她是Marcus Burnett（Martin Lawrence饰）的妹妹，亦是美国缉毒局的卧底探员。另外在片中，Sydney与Mike Lowrey（Will Smith饰）是情侣。
　　《洛城战警》里Syd成了洛杉矶警局的警探，原本可以扔下过去，享受生活的她却可能因为新拍档Nancy McKenna而令事情变得复杂。在2000-02年主演过《末世黑天使 Dark Angel》的Jessica Alba将饰演Nancy McKenna，Nancy高中后参加了陆军，在伊拉克及阿富汗待了10年之久；回国后她当上了警探，与丈夫一同抚养两个前青少年期的继子。
