　　剧中讲述患上末期病症的主角Dodge Maynard（Liam Hemsworth饰）为了 怀孕中的妻子而参加一个致命游戏，在游戏中他成了别人的猎物。其他演员有Natasha Liu Bordizzo﹑Christoph Waltz﹑Billy Burke﹑Aaron Poole﹑Christopher Webster﹑Jimmy Akingbola﹑Sarah Gadon和Zach Cherry。

　　蕾切尔·薇兹将首次涉足电视剧领域，出演亚马逊剧集《孽扣》。该剧由《正常人》编剧爱丽丝·伯奇撰写剧本，是对大卫·柯南伯格同名邪典影片进行性别互换的重塑。薇兹饰演的曼特尔双胞胎是两位妇产科医生，肩负着改变女性生育方式的使命，探讨着女性健康等主题及其面临的问题。

　　本剧改编自《探长薇拉》原著作者Ann Cleeves的同名小说，该小说是自她二十年来首个新系列"Two Rivers"中的第一本。

　　Dr. Tony Hill 这个角色是个大学里面的法庭心理学家，他一起与一位非常干练的女刑事探员Carol Jordan 合作破了一个又一个非常棘手的悬疑案件！
