Walerian Borowczyk唯一的一部动画长片，原长80分钟，之后出了个几分钟的concert精简版。 This is perhaps one of the funnies, yet most bizarre movies I have ever seen. I am in awe. Heavily surreal. Every scene has so much creative power and craziness you just can't avoid being fascinated by it. There's a story too of course, but I'm not sure I'd dare to try and explain it.. It was all so confusing. Well, there's Mrs. Kabal.. a funny old lady which seems to think she's something important(like the old lady in Sunset Blv. or something..) And there's butterflies, and Mr. Kabal, and a huge house.. and these strangelooking creatures.. and so much details. Its so funny. At one point Mr. Kabal tries to puncture a hole in Mrs. Kabals huge chest, and instead of it shrinking.. the whole woman grows into a giant! And then Mr. Kabal finds the hole in her stomach and comes into this huge building inside her with stairs, windows and stuff.. And then Mrs. Kabal was shouting at him to do tasks in there. It was all pretty weird to follow. But there was a story going on. See this if you get the chance!

《高飞家族》里的 Goofy 与 Max 父子在本片搭档演出，Max 已是一个十足的青少年，他想与学校的女同学去参加舞会，不料老爸却强拉他一同去钓鱼，代沟的冲突使得这父子关系面临考验。本片当初以“电影版卡通”小品作品之姿，居然开创出三千五百多万美金的票房，而成本不过是相等长度的电视卡通而已，获利力之高真是让人颇为意外。本片的主题其实还蛮发人深省的，是在探讨亲子两代间的一些代沟问题，不单纯只是一部搞笑片，虽然以夸张的卡通式表现手法，呈现的却是亲子情感细腻的一面。尽管“电影版卡通”由于成本的限制，制作手法没办法像“经典动画”那样的精致，但是本片故事情节的安排非常不错，歌曲更是耐听！难怪该组制作人马在本片小兵立大功后，就被迪士尼由电视动画部门升格成为电影制作部门了！他们第一部动画电影作品就是1999年的《泰山》！

Every year, the elves come from his magical world to bring humans a new spring. Tim is a new one this year. Distracted by the attractive sound of the fair, he wanders away from the other elves, being captured by former trapeze artist Samuel, who brings him to Vladimir, owner of a circus who exploits him as a fairground attraction. Teresa, a naughty 6-year-old girl, is jealous of her little brother, baby Jon. When visiting the fair, she discovers Tim while he is being exhibited and she will become infatuated with him. Tim, at the same time, will see in her an opportunity to escape. Hidden in Teresa's house and protected by her, they live several adventures, becoming inseparable friends. Over time, matching with the end of the spring, Tim begins to transform in a Little tree. He has been away from his world and his people for too long, and only by helping him to return will Tim be saved. There is no time to lose, but be careful: Vladimir is lurking.
