　　影片由基里尔·谢列布连尼科夫（《彼得罗夫的流感》《盛夏》）执导，帕维乌·帕夫利科夫斯基（《修女艾达》《冷战》）编剧，根据法国作家埃马努埃莱·卡雷尔撰写，描绘俄罗斯激进诗人、持不同政见者爱德华·利莫诺夫的传记小说改编。小说有着这样一段描述，“激进苏联诗人的骇人冒险：一个纽约的流浪汉、一个引起法兰西轰动的人、一个俄罗斯的政治人物”。
　　利莫诺夫个人生活极富传奇色彩，在曼哈顿他是富豪的管家，在巴黎他是作家，在俄罗斯他则是布尔什维克党的政党领袖。影片对白语言会根据拍摄地俄罗斯、纽约、巴黎的变换而对应转变。

　　所罗门王与雪芭女王之间的故事，是圣经电影经常拍摄的题材。大导演金．维多执导的这个版本只是中规中矩，因男主角泰隆．鲍华在演出中途去世，乃由尤．伯连纳取代重拍，细心的观众或许可以看到所罗门王在近景和远景之中会出现不同的体型。剧情描述以色列王子所罗门王与弟弟阿多奈贾正准备进攻埃及时，雪芭女王前来离间，一方面用美色勾引所罗门，另一方面让阿多奈贾意图谋夺大卫王病逝后遗下的皇位。两兄弟为此反目，上帝亦以神力毁坏所罗门的神庙来表示他的愤怒。

　　This story is about a musician, Natalie, who moves to a big city and tries her luck at becoming famous. And here she finds not only a great opportunity for her career, but also a new love with another girl, Anna. They two are very different: one poor, the other one is rich, one of them writes music and sings, the other one cannot hear or speak…

　　Synopsis
　　In the Allegory of the Cave, Plato ponders: what would happen if one of the prisoners managed to free themselves from their chains and escape from the cave? What if that prisoner were Jay, a little 7-year-old boy?
　　Director’s statement
　　What lies behind the daily movement of a city? Last winter, we met in Paris and began discussing the Allegory of the Cave, as told in Plato’s Republic. The myth imagines humanity living in chains, facing the back of a cave, and watching shadows move on the walls, thinking it is reality. We both work with images, which certainly can be illusions, but can also become instruments of struggle and liberation of thought. So, from this discussion, we decided to create a short film. We had a few fixed ideas—the cave, the dance, the city bustling around us—and one question: what would happen if we all managed to turn together towards the exit of the cave? Perhaps it is not enough to assert that images are illusions as long as the chains that bind us are real.

　　夏洛特（简·西蒙斯 Jean Simmons 饰）和丈夫阿诺尔德（丹·奥赫里奇 Dan O'Herlihy 饰）之间的婚姻并不幸福，她一直怀疑自己同父异母的妹妹乔安（朗达·弗莱明 Rhonda Fleming 饰）和阿诺尔德之间有着不正当的关系。这种怀疑日日夜夜的折磨着夏洛特，终于令她精神失常，最终被送进了精神病院中。

　　鲁南张庄，86岁老人林郭氏，身体硬朗，在农村老宅独自生活。林郭氏突发脑血栓，身体状况逐渐恶化。子女积极为老人操作敬老院入住事宜。敬老院床位紧张，只有等待敬老院有老人去世，按照老人的意愿，开始了到子女家轮流居住的短暂旅程。这一过程中，林郭氏中风摔倒，脑神经损伤，得了笑病。 敬老院终于有老人亡故，空出床位。却在去敬老院的前夕，林郭氏怀揣着全家福老照片溘然长逝。按照老风俗，儿孙们给她办了一场轰轰烈烈的喜丧。 生活重新开始，又是在重复昨天的故事……

　　1966年夏天，迎接暑假到来的三姊弟，一如往常地嬉戏玩乐，与家人讨论暑假的旅游计划。看似和乐的家庭，直到母亲意外得知父亲不可告人的秘密后，逐渐崩解。这回透过小孩们的无奈答话，充分展现二战之后逐渐弥漫的保守氛围，并讥讽当时社会的道德假面。

　　主人公山姆（克里斯·卡马克 Chris Carmack 饰）有着沉重的过去，一场大火让他的家庭支离破碎，妹妹珍妮（蕾切尔·敏纳 Rachel Miner 饰）也由于自己的失误葬生火海。成年后的山姆在偶然间发现自己拥有了能够穿越时空的超能力，他利用自己的能力回到了火灾现场，虽然救出了珍妮，但是本该逃生的父母却死于火灾。改变了过去后，山姆和珍妮相依为命，山姆结交了女友丽贝卡（Mia Serafino 饰），可是没多久，惨剧再次发生，丽贝卡死于一场谋杀，而山姆的朋友朗尼（Richard Thorne 饰）则被警方当做真凶逮捕判刑。丽贝卡的妹妹伊丽莎白（莎拉·哈贝尔 Sarah Habel 饰）觉得事有可疑，他拜托山姆穿越回丽贝卡被杀害的那一天，找出真凶。
　　一次次的穿越让时间线索变得面目全非，本该死的人活着，本该清白的人却背上的罪名，唯一不变的，是所有亲近他的女性都会惨遭杀害。随着真相的渐渐明朗，一个另山姆意想不到的身影出现在了本不属于他的时空中。

　　The Soundtrack of a life. Cris ( Selton Mello) , a young artist still trying to find his place on the tough world of arts, gets from Brazilian Government special permit to stay a month in an isolated international research station surrounded by nothing but ice. His goal is to prepare an exhibition mixing music and photography. Cris will go against his own defined concepts and values, as he spends time with other researchers discovering PLANET EARTH on an never seen perspective. This shock will result on this young artist 's evolution changing his life forever.
