　　In 2007 Banksy goes to Palestine to paint on walls. Someone takes offense at a piece depicting an Israeli soldier checking a donkey's ID. A local taxi driver decides to cut it off and sell it back to the West. This is the story of the Palestinian perspective and reaction to street art through the work of its most celebrated hero. The story of an illegal black market of art stolen from streets around the world, cultures clashing in the face of an unsustainable political situation and finally of the changing perception on street art. It is not one story, but many. Like Banksy's art would be meaningless without its context, so the absence of it would be meaningless without an understanding of the elements that brought his artwork from Bethlehem to a Western auction house, along with the wall it was painted on.

　　Rebecca Miller’s film is a portrait of her father, his times and insights, built around impromptu interviews shot over many years in the family home. This celebration of the great American playwright is quite different from what the public has ever seen. It is a close consideration of a singular life shadowed by the tragedies of the Red Scare and the death of Marilyn Monroe; a bracing look at success and failure in the public eye; an honest accounting of human frailty; a tribute to one artist by another. 　　本部纪录片记录了伊朗导演贾法·帕纳西因“宣传反对政权”而被囚禁家中的生活片段。帕纳西把镜头对准自己居住的公寓，对准自己，记录下了自己生活的琐碎点滴。他在等待法院对他的最终判决期间的生活，无聊而绝望。禁止电影制作无疑意味着，他将长期无法从事热爱的电影艺术。影片忠实地记录下了帕纳西面对“艺术之死”后的痛苦与无奈，但最后一个镜头却定格在熊熊烈火中，永不燃尽。
　　2010年12月20日，伊朗官方宣布了一项震惊电影界的判决：“帕纳西先生因为参加反对伊朗政府的宣传活动而被起诉，他将在狱中度过6年，并被剥夺20年社会权利。其中包括不得制作或者指导任何一部电影，不得创作剧本，不得接受国内国外媒体采访，更不得离开伊朗”。这部经历千辛万苦的影片，终于几经辗转地被秘密装进优盘，带到了第64届戛纳电影节，并入选第36届多伦多电影节的大师单元。
