　　ALONE is the most intense survival series on television. This season’s participants will face the biggest twist in series history—a 100-day challenge for 1 million dollars.

　　In this three-part series for BBC One, Sue will explore the lives of the people living close the river and the challenges facing India as it transforms into one the world's great economic powers. The Ganges is the story of modern India in one spectacular river.
　　Sue Perkins follows her journeys up the Mekong and through Kolkata with an epic travel series down the length of the Ganges, which is worshipped by Hindus as a living Goddess.  Sue will travel from the sacred source of the river, high in the Himalayas, through the industrial and agricultural heartlands of the Gangetic Plain and the ancient city of Varanasi, to the vast delta on the Bay of Bengal.
　　She will join pilgrims seeking to wash clean the sins of alifetime at the Ganges' source; work alongside fishermen and farmers in the Sunderbarns, who share their forests with man-eating tigers; and join some of the thousands of young women leaving rural villages and moving to the cities to find work and freedom.
　　Sue says: 「I've travelled the length of the Ganges, from the oxygen-starved peaks of the Himalayas to the vast delta in West Bengal, meeting a huge array of characters on the way. Expect cows on bridges, India's Most Energetic Monk, and me, in a dress. I can't wait for you to see it.」

　　Bear drops into the swamps of Florida's Everglades, where at least 60 tourists need to be rescued each year. He trudges through the swamp and shows how to construct shelter, deal with razor-sharp sawgrass, get out of a muddy sinkhole, avoid alligators and rattlesnakes. He eats frogs and cooks a turtle Seminole-style.

　　In this new series Robson Green pushes the angling boundaries further than ever before in search of the Ultimate Catch.
　　Travelling to incredible locations renowned for their fishing potential, at the perfect time in the angling calendar, Robson flies thousands of miles across the globe to be in the right place, with the right fishing guides, at exactly the right time. But even then its not going to be easy.
　　Thunderstorms, drought, high winds and flash floods all have their part to play, and Robson will have to use every ounce of his fishing know-how, combined with the local guides and legends, if he wants to hook into the Ultimate Catch. Hell be fishing for huge predators in the mid Atlantic, hunting from a canoe in a lush volcanic crater, sight-casting on mysterious rivers in deep jungles, and learning local techniques from indigenous fishermen. Hell be hunting down migratory giants, netting huge crabs, free-diving for a shape-shifting octopus, night-fishing for a huge catfish, and ...

For the thirteenth season, four of the six cast members from the previous season returned. Eva Marcille departed the series while NeNe Leakes departed the series for a second time. Actress and singer Drew Sidora joined the show's main cast. Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam appeared again as friends of the cast alongside newcomer LaToya Ali.
Cynthia and her fiancé, Mike Hill, face some challenges before the wedding, the future of Kenya's marriage to Marc Daly still remains uncertain after their split last year, Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker expand their businesses, and Porsha's relationship with Dennis McKinley has taken a backseat.
