　　故事设定在第二季事件的152年后。

　　故事讲述洛杉矶出现了神秘巨大天坑，一个家庭也由此被一分为二，母亲&儿子与父亲&女儿被迫分离。当一部分家庭发现自己和一群形形色色的陌生人一起身处在一个无法解释的原始世界时，他们必须努力求生，并揭开自己身处何处、是否有回家的路的谜团。冈萨雷斯将饰演一名空军飞行员，他被招募来领导拯救落入天坑的人的任务。
