　　格雷汉姆·海斯（梅尔·吉布森 Mel Gibson 饰）是美国费城某小镇上一个普通的农场主，一天早上醒来，他和家人意外的发现自己的玉米田里出现了几个一串串紧紧连结在一起的庞大环状神秘图案。这可让格雷汉姆一家吃惊不小，因为玉米田里根本没有任何足迹，看上去像是外星球人的飞船降落的痕迹。很快全世界各地都传出了一夜之间出现神秘图案的消息，人们惊恐万分，惶惶不可终日。全国的媒体、记者和观众也都把焦点以风一般的速度转移到了这个美国南部的小镇，集中到了巴克斯郡的海斯一家。

　　George is the scapegoat of his classmates. One day he cracks and shoots them. His best and only friend Blaise is accused in his place and sentenced to 7 years in a psychiatric hospital. At the day of his release, Blaise realizes he only has one family: his best friend George. But he does not want to hear about his childhood friend, as he tries to integrate with the "Chivers" a gang whose members wear red jackets and boots, drink milk, drive sport trucks and play an incomprehensible and violent game that mixes cricket and mental arithmetic.

　　Middle-aged banker Arthur Hamilton is given the opportunity to start a completely new life when he receives calls from his old friend Charlie. The only problem is that Charlie is supposed to be dead. Hamilton is eventually introduced to a firm that will fake his death and create an entirely new look and life for him. After undergoing physical reconstruction surgery and months of training and psychotherapy, Hamilton returns to the world in the form of artist Tony Wilson. He has a nice house in Malibu and a manservant, a company employee who is there to assist him with his adjustment. 　　In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 　　在2034年，杨俊康教授发明了T芯片，植入T芯片的人类，不再产生疾病，医疗芯片集团普世公司垄断了T芯片专利技术后，将芯片移植技术推广到了普罗大众，使人类开始依赖T芯片。十年过后，一只神秘的雇佣兵组织袭击了普世集团总部，并极其残酷的杀死了总部除了杨俊康孙女杨小青之外的大多数人，并将一种从未见过的芯片病毒植入到了中心控制台中。一瞬间所有已经移植过T芯片的新型人类全部瘫痪，生命岌岌可危。

　　随着科技的进步和发展，一种能让犯罪之人“改邪归正”的新型药物被研发了出来，一位名叫李（雷·利奥塔 Ray Liotta 饰）的死刑犯作为试验品接受了药物的注射，通过实验数据的监测，科学家们发现除了暴力倾向的逐渐消除外，李的内心里还对受害者盖瑞（Mark Pickard 饰）产生了愧疚之情，这也就意味着，李已经逐渐的转变成为了所谓的“好人”。实验组让李重新回归了社会，并进行着持续的监控。
　　随着时间的推移，李的生活渐渐走上了正轨，他不仅努力工作，还交了一位漂亮的女友。心中的愧疚让李打起了看望盖瑞的念头，然而，盖瑞的哥哥比尔（蒂姆·迪凯 Tim DeKay 饰）却不愿意原谅李，他不仅绑架了李，还打死了监控李的工作人员。工作人员的死亡让警方误以为李“本性难移”，一边是步步紧逼的追捕，一边是凶神恶煞的绑匪，腹背受敌的李会遭遇怎样的险情呢？
