　　由Shondaland制片﹑《实习医生格蕾》制作人 Stacy McKee执笔的衍生剧背景在西雅图消防局，讲述一群英勇的消防员，上至队长下至菜鸟的他们冒着自己生命安全去拯救民众。Jaina Lee Ortiz饰演衍生剧女主角Andy Herrera，而《实习医生格蕾》的角色Ben Warren医生（Jason George饰）会先继续在母剧出场，然后转往衍生剧里。
