In quick succession, Wan loses her job and her father, suddenly inheriting her father's grocery store, crumbling away during hard times. She soon meets hardworking and flirtatious store regular Maewnam. Maewnam is supportive of Wan's efforts to turn the business around, but she's hiding the truth about her family's business which threatens Wan's plans.

Ryu is a skilled young writer who has a girlfriend, Pin, who he's dated since high school. They love each other and plan to marry. With the arrival of Arm, the grandson of the owner of the company where Ryu works, and their gradual relationship, Ryu's world begins to brighten again.
