　　该纪录片通过德国、意大利、日本三个轴心国分别在欧洲、亚洲、中东所挑起的战争，表现了在第二次世界大战中，世界反法西斯联盟在海、陆、空的各个战场上英勇抗击法西斯侵略者宏大场面。通过该片使我们充分了解到如：斯大林格勒、诺曼底登陆及攻克柏林等重大战役珍贵史实资料。
　　这是我能找到的《The World At War》最详细的分集名字了，有些是我自己起的名字 :cool!: 这部1974年英国一家电视制作公司制作完成的宏伟巨作应该是反映第二次世界大战最权威的纪录片。看看他们做了多少工作就知道这部片子的分量，出现在他们影片中的有事件发生的当事人，有高级军官，有政治家，有普通百姓、还有普通士兵。整部大约26小时的影片中没有一个重复镜头，全部镜头均取材于当时的战时宣传影片或照片。该片的解说为著名英国演员劳伦斯奥里佛爵士，相信听过他诠释哈姆雷特“生存还是死亡”的人对他的声音应该有印象。此外该片的资助人是大英博物馆，每集的拍摄都组成了单独的制作小组，有各自独立的编剧、导演，然后经过专门聘请的历史学家审评，再加以精心制作。我相信，在反映二战的纪录片中，不但过去没有，今后恐怕也没有能超越这部片子的了。
　　第一次看到这样翻译纪录片的，十分新鲜。不过令我念念不忘的还是影片带给我的震撼，当看到身临其境者一个个出现在屏幕上现身说法时，还有比这更有说服力的吗？比如第7辑《万岁！日本》中描述珍珠港事件，被采访的有日军计划制定者、特遣舰队的海军军官、驻珍珠港的日本间谍、空袭珍珠港的日军飞行员、当时在场的美国陆军军官、美国海军军官和水兵，甚至还有当时珍珠港的平民。短短20分钟的叙述让你永远难忘。

Aziz's longtime opponent, education reformer Pervez Hoodbhoy joins the re-energized anti-extremist movement. Throughout the film, he passionately opposes Aziz on television and public forums. With the tide turning against the cleric, Pervez is determined to see Aziz put in jail. Intimate and brutally honest, AMONG THE BELIEVERS offers rare insight into the ideological battle shaping Pakistan and the Muslim world.

Four years in Ivanna’s life have become a formidable film created with an artist’s eye for the material texture of the world where an image of a sleeping child, three fish and a hungry cat almost become a cosmic motif. This is vital, physical film art with an unforgettable woman at its centre. Meanwhile, Ivanna’s letters, which are read aloud by herself, lift her story above the raging of the elements. Director Renato Borrayo Serrano, who was born in Guatemala and lives in Russia, has created a drama about liberation and a melancholy requiem about a bygone way of life.

　　The massive man-made satellite, commonly known as the International Space Station, hurtling around the Earth at 27,600 km an hour, has been a temporary home for humans for the last 20 years. The biggest land vehicle on earth, a bucket excavator titled Bagger 293, that can move 240,000 cubic meters of dirt each day. Innovation has always meant building bigger, faster, taller, longer and stronger than anything that came before. We’ve seen them in dramatic visual fashion. But how do these actually work? What sets each machine apart. What big ideas drove its evolution and what limitations did this machine overcome? What forces was it built to withstand and where is the breaking point? Using CGI and expert insights, we ‘strip down’ the design of some of the world’s unique colossal machines and reveal mechanical secrets that not only made them work, but also changed the world in a big way!
　　Each episode explores four incredible machines, linked thematically. From sea and space faring designs, to mega airborne, mining and industrial machines, we’ll break down what they can do as well as key inner mechanics and materials that make it all possible. Dynamic archival footage featuring; slow motion, aerials, and time-lapses get us past the ‘caution’ tape and up close and personal with these compound monsters. CGI provides breakouts and blueprints and a look at hidden mechanisms. Adding expertise of structural, mechanical, chemical and forensic engineers to help reveal what’s at stake when these colossal constructions are put work, and how all the pieces come together to make a big impact.

　　跨媒體「鬼才」黃霑，對香港的流行文化影響深遠，他參與創作的流行曲、影視作品、廣告等等，也是多代香港人的共同回憶。趁着霑叔離世接近二十周年，節目希望透過舊片重溫，回顧他的生平成就。其生前好友鍾鎮濤、雷頌德、鄭國江，也會憶述關於霑叔的深刻點滴，並讓觀眾再次感受霑叔的才情橫溢。此外，霑叔的長子黃宇瀚一直甚少在鏡頭前出現。這次難得受訪，他會以兒子的視角，細訴霑叔私底下的面貌。
