　　英国走红的加拿大喜剧演员Katherine Ryan在Netflix的项目之一《The Duchess》确认9月11日播出。
　　本剧由她自编自制自演，30分钟喜剧，第一季有6集。故事讲述一个在伦敦的强大且时髦单身妈妈。大女儿Olive是她的心头肉，导致了她在挣扎考虑要不要跟她此生最大的敌人——前夫，生第二个孩子。她认为两个错误会负负得正，成为正确的选择。

　　在美国殡仪业大势并购垄断下，Fisher meijubar.net一家仍然努力坚持家族式服务为生。创办人父亲Nathaniel尽管已经不在人世，但是他的形象却经常出现在家人的幻想中，留下的家族业务由家庭的其余四个人员打理。老大Nate（彼得·克劳斯Peter Krause 饰）一直在殡葬业务和初为人父的家庭角色中寻找平衡；老二David（迈克尔·霍尔Michael C. 　　Feeling nervous that the firm is not making enough money, Fish and Cage decide to hire another associate, a "rainmaker" who can bring in lucrative clients. They hire Nelle Porter, an attractive, late 20's litigator from a respectable firm. On her first day, Nelle manages to irritate Ally, Georgia and Elaine, but Fish and Cage seem very pleased with her. 　　本劇集於 1999 年在美國開始播放，以外星人的元素來反影及描寫青少年在成長上所面對的各種問題，雖然此劇得獎不多，但其受歡迎程度不弱，尤其是以女歌手 Dido 所唱的主題曲已賣得滿堂紅。本劇於 2002 年播影完畢，合共有三個季度。

　　The series begins when suspected human remains are uncovered on Whitney Marsh - Jess and Sunny are immediately called to the scene, abandoning their evening plans to Jess’s husband’s chagrin. Dr Balcombe’s analysis reveals that the remains are relatively recent and suggest a grim conclusion: the body was placed there already dismembered. With this insight, Jess and Sunny intensify their search certain that other body parts may not be far away.
　　As the investigation unfolds, viewers are introduced to a diverse new cast of characters: Melinda Ricci, an outspoken television commentator based in Ireland; Martin ‘Marty’ Baines, an autistic man living with his mother Dot in Deal, Kent; Asif Syed, an Afghan training for his UK citizenship test; and Juliet Cooper, a history lecturer and faculty head at a London university.
　　While these characters live seemingly separate lives, they are intricately connected by their pasts. It’s up to Jess, Sunny, and their dedicated team to uncover these hidden links and ultimately expose the truth behind the cold case murder.

　　2009年11月靓丽人生第二季强势回归！BBC在1台、4台、有线台滚动播出第二季。曾写出“Beautiful Thing”的Jonathan Harvey一如既往的展示了可与“威尔与格蕾丝”媲美的笑匠功力。
　　值得一提的是，新一季将不再出现纽约。Jonathan表示，他希望靓丽人生更加本土化，于是砍掉了成年Simon与男友的感情关系。一开始观众就将看到 Simon收拾行装搭乘回雷丁的飞机，接下来将会出现两个雷丁：Simon记忆中的雷丁（1998年）和现实中的雷丁（2009年）。他将和父母再次建立纽带。不知道在疯狂基因下这个妙趣横生的家庭又会酝酿什么爆笑话题。
