　　Extras是由BBC 2001年播出的大热喜剧The Office制片Ricky Gervais和编剧Stephen Merchant再度携手推出的一部力作，播出第一集后即好评如潮。
　　Gervais在剧中扮演Andy Millman，一名为圆从影梦而从银行辞职，却始终只能演些小配角的家伙。
　　实际上，他甚至很少能得到一个有台词的角色，为此他整天呆在演员休息室，同其他临时演员一起，包括他的好友Maggie Jacobs，羡慕着那些主角们。Stephen Merchant在剧中扮演Andy的经纪人。
　　每集的Extras都将会安排一段特别的剧情，由不同的客座明星来客串，第二季中有奥兰多布鲁姆（魔戒精灵弓箭手），罗伯特德尼罗，丹尼尔雷德克利夫（哈里波特），伊恩麦柯莱恩（魔戒），克里斯马汀（酷玩合唱团主唱）

　　Nate Ford(蒂莫西·赫顿 Timothy Hutton 饰)曾当过保险调查员，为自己的老板挽回过数百万美元的损失，是个忠心耿耿的雇员。但是有一天，他发现老板宁愿让自己的儿子去死也不肯兑现理赔，意识到自己与这个虚伪的行业根本就格格不入。 辞职之后，Nate戒掉了酒瘾，与盗窃专家Parker（贝丝·涅斯格拉夫 Beth Riesgraf 饰）、互联网专家Alex（阿尔迪斯·霍吉 Aldis Hodge 饰）、 超级壮汉Eliot（克里斯蒂安·凯恩 Christian Kane 饰）、职业骗子Sophie（吉娜·贝尔曼 Gina Bellman 饰）等四个各具神通的人组成了一个小团队，发誓保护那些受到社会与强权主义压迫、得不到公正待遇的人。

　　USA热门剧《妙贼警探》放出了第2季首支宣传片。这部最令人期待的剧集得到了诸如“时髦的”、“完美的”、“有趣之极的”等评价。就像最后Peter的台词一样：“这可不算完。”是的，这才是《妙贼警探》夏季攻势的开始。
　　而第2季除了更多Neal和Peter的对手戏外，Mozzie身上也将发生点儿“浪漫的事”：曾经出演过《数字追凶》，饰演和 Larry教授交往的女警察Megan Reeves的女演员戴安·法尔将客串《妙贼警探》，饰演 Mozzie暗恋的女招待Gina De Stefano。她的戏份将在出现在第2季初，Gina身陷麻烦之中，很需要人的帮助。而Mozzie的骑士精神当然会用在他心仪的女士身上。

　　《神探可伦坡》（Columbo）是一个有名的经典美国电视电影，由彼得·福克（Peter Falk）主演。自1968年~2003年期间，共69集。本片叙述一名总是穿着一件皱巴巴的棕色风衣，顶着一头乱发，嘴里叼雪茄，开着一辆老爷车的洛杉矶重案组的刑警主角法兰克·可伦坡（Frank Columbo）。看似不修边幅的他，总是以敏锐的推理能力侦破各种案件，并让犯人无从抵赖。
　　本片每集独立成篇，一大特点是每集中客串演出犯人角色的全为名演员与名人。另一特点是剧情采用固定的倒叙推理形式;先描述犯人作案的情形，而后描写可伦坡从与嫌疑犯的交谈及证据中确定其嫌疑，逼得犯人不得不自白。犯人原以为天衣无缝的杀人计划，都逃不过他的锐眼。他的一句名言是：‘世上没有完美犯罪’。
　　倒叙推理，着重如howcatchem（如何抓住犯人），而不是常见的whodunit（谁是凶手）、howdunit（手法）或whydunit（动机）。因此在日本若出现倒叙推理的作品，往往会被叫成‘神探可伦坡或古畑任三郎风格’。日本著名编剧 三谷幸喜 从小就可伦坡迷，长大后更是创作了’日本版神探可伦坡’－《古畑任三郎》。
