　　Steven Parnell, who was accused of murdering a number young girls the previous summer, is killed while in prison awaiting trial. Morse had not been involved in the case as he was on leave during most of that investigation. What piques Morse's interest is that one of the victims, Karen Anderson, was never found and it is assumed that her body was dumped in a nearby lake but Parnell confessed to his priest on his deathbed that he wasn't responsible for that particular murder. When one of the witnesses in the case, George Daly, is murdered, Morse and Lewis try to find some connection to Anderson's disappearance. They also wonder why Anderson's camera - she was an avid photographer - wasn't found. What they come across is a group of middle-aged men whose hobby is taking so-called glamour photos.

　　Hotel Babylon lifts the lid on the service industry. When people are paying upwards of three hundred pounds a night for a room, they’re prepared to leave real life at the door and play as hard as they want. Film directors rub shoulders with con-artists, child stars mingle with business billionaires and food gurus chat with glitterati. 　　喜剧《有家真好 Home》根据Channel 4同名剧改编，美版讲述Mark及Melanie两夫妇与儿子Jonah到林中小屋度假后，回来时却发现一个叙利亚难民Jay搬来与他们同住，不过这个奇怪的组合倒是令主角理解到家的意义。（原版是一位大马士革非法移民偷藏在主角车子的行李厢）

　　A comedy trivia quiz based around pop music, originally hosted by Mark Lamarr up to October 2006, currently hosted by Simon Amstell. Te  am captains Phil Jupitus and Bill Bailey (who replaced Sean Hughes in May 2002) are joined each week by different music stars. Popular rounds include one where team members have to identify song intros hummed to them and another where a bygone music star has to be picked out of a line-up of lookalikes.
