　　电影讲述了在疫情肆虐的冬天，八段关于爱与希望的平凡故事交错发生，人们彼此关爱互相拯救，共同守望春天的到来。

　　After settling down together and only being separated in death during the Ayutthaya era (1351-1767 CE), Dej and Karaket are reborn in the early Rattanakosin period (1782-1855 CE). But there is only one of them who still believes in ‘destiny’. Bhop, a chief engineer with the sweetest smile in Siam, has been seeing the same lady in his dreams for many years. He believes wholeheartedly that she is his destined soulmate. When Bhop meets Gaysorn who looks exactly like the girl in his dreams, Bhop follows her around, trying to win her heart. However, Gaysorn has a progressive attitude and does not believe in destiny. Gaysorn clearly expresses that she dislikes Bhop, but she is interested in Mathus, a Thai-Western man who uses strange slang when speaking, which happens to match the messages in an old journal of Lady Karaket. Did Mathus travel back in time from the future like Lady Karaket?! Their relationships have not been figured out, yet when Bhop, Gaysorn, and Mathus get caught up in a chaotic historical event, things get out of hand and could lead to a war that will change history forever. Where will destiny lead them?

　　Last at the Festival with 2017’s rural noir Dark River, a selection in the Platform programme, writer-director Clio Barnard returns to the Bradford, West Yorkshire setting of her earlier films for this tumultuous, fiercely affecting midlife love story.
　　A bundle of good humour and nervous energy, Ali (Adeel Akhtar) is a British Pakistani working-class landlord who forges close bonds with his tenants. One day, while picking up one of his tenants’ children from school, he offers a lift to Ava (Claire Rushbrook), an Irish-born teacher and single mother of five. They bond almost instantly through their love of music, though Ali favours the high energy of Buzzcocks and hip-hop while Ava takes refuge in the quieter comforts of Bob Dylan and Karen Dalton. Despite their divergent backgrounds, differences in their stages of life, and the colour of their skin, despite the fact of Ali’s failing marriage and Ava’s fraught relationship with her adult and adolescent children, each finds themself irresistibly drawn to the other. But can their mutual desire transcend a barrage of personal obstacles?
　　Inspired by people Barnard encountered while making her acclaimed features The Arbor and The Selfish Giant, Ali & Ava is a film that feels profoundly rooted in lived experience, blending a tender emotional complexity with an at times bracing depiction of trauma and grief. Akhtar and Rushbrook’s finely hued performances speak to the setting’s cultural diversity and tribal loyalties while yielding a vulnerability that’s alternately heart-wrenching and joyous. Their story serves as a reminder that it is sometimes the least likely connections that are the ones most worth pursuing.

　　导演谢·索洛维约夫天才地将绘画、文学和音乐贯穿在本片中。用美和智慧拯救心灵似乎是他一贯表达的主题。本片也不例外。少年纯净天真的气质、内心尖锐的疼痛、自我意识的雏形都得到了完好的呈现。在镜头描绘大自然、光与影的细微图层的同时，索洛维约夫捕捉着人物转瞬即逝的情绪变化，就是在这样一个孤立的岛屿和人生必经的一段旅程上，主人公内心的力量慢慢积蓄。
　　无论是《童年过后一百天》，还是之后的《白夜的旋律》、《阿萨》、《黑玫瑰——悲伤的象征，红玫瑰——爱情的象征》、《星空下的房子》等，几乎所有索洛维约夫的影片都涌动着喷薄而发的激情，充满着无尽的魅力。

　　本片根据三毛最后一部同名作品改编。日伪时期，女作家沈韶华（林青霞 饰）在报纸上连载她的自传体小说《白玉兰》，很多情节感同身受。某日，她接到了一位神秘的读者来信。她对这个名叫章能才（秦汉 饰）的男人充满了好奇。终于，两人见面，一见钟情。然而，因为章是汉奸，常有外人滋事，令韶华很是不安。此时，她的闺中密友月 凤（张曼玉 饰）因与男友（严浩 饰）赌气，来找她倾诉。韶华一边规劝，一边把爱人介绍给她。三人一起出游，感情很好。然而，见到日本军人凌辱中国人，月凤顿觉章面目可憎。三人闹得不欢而散。此后，时局动荡，日本投降，国共开战，韶华的情感经历了更加复杂的波澜……

　　大明永乐年间，锦衣卫副指挥使李毅，带领手下小七等人奉命迎接西藏大喇嘛贡嘎扎西进京，却遭遇神秘杀手袭击。一场大战后，从人被杀，李毅负伤，幸亏小七拼死血战，对方也受伤逃走了，可是慌乱中，竟然发现，车里的大喇嘛竟然是个女子……

　　家宝（邓丽欣饰）样子甜美，受到很多男士的欢迎。与志荣（森美饰）晴晴（钟嘉欣饰）夫妻是老同学。家宝无意间发现了志荣与朋友碧莲之间的暧昧，志荣更与家宝大谈第三者，家宝面对晴晴的时候十分内疚，不知是否应该告之真相，也把事情告诉了自己的室友阿蚊（杨爱瑾饰）。
　　家宝遇到了自己的旧男友大力（方力申饰）的同时也跟医生Joe（张敬轩饰）互有好感，三角关系十分尴尬。家宝被人加害，怀疑是大力继分手后的再次暗算。家宝后来还是觉得大力对自己的感觉是真的，于是重修旧好。
　　但没想到，一切的事情都有各自的真相，令人大感惊奇。

　　1970年代末，在西北敕勒川牧场做了小半辈子牧马人的小学教师许灵均（朱时茂）一路风尘来到北京饭店，与30年未曾谋面的父亲、旅美华侨企业家许景由（刘琼）见面。当年，追求个人自由的许景由无法忍受与妻子的错误婚姻，丢下妻儿去了美国。此次归来，他有心带许灵均回美国继承事业。
　　交谈中，许灵均不认为将自己融在集体中、时时以国家利益为重的行为是思想陈旧的表现，对于父亲的舒适生活，他并不艳羡。
　　回顾自己几十年来所走的道路，虽有幼年成为弃儿、青年被打成右派下放牧场的悲惨经历，却也数次从牧区质朴、善良的乡民身上感受到人间温情，而在艰难岁月中与四川苦命女李秀芝（丛珊）结为夫妻后，许灵均更是尝到苦尽甘来的心酸与甜美。他认为，国家在好不容易迈过“文革”这个大坎之后，个人更应该同亲朋一起，不离不弃地跟着她走向新生。
