　　孤独的木匠爷爷这晚亲手制作了一个木偶男孩——皮诺曹。可能上天眷顾爷爷，午夜，蓝仙女显灵了，她让这个木偶男孩具有了意识，能像其他男孩那样跑跑跳跳了。获得了生命的皮诺曹兴奋不已，很快和屋子里的小动物交上了朋友。早上爷爷起来见到皮诺曹惊讶不已，他十分感激上天赐给他的礼物。

　　此次汪汪队化身维修救援小队和喷气机救援小队，分别由毛毛和天天担任起了队长的重任。巴金堡的赛车比赛在如火如荼的进行中，参加比赛的有热门选手追风和韩丁纳市长的表妹猎豹等。为了取得赛车比赛的第一名，猎豹与表韩丁纳哥里应外合将其他几位参赛选手置于险境，困在赛车途中。没有选手到达终点，猎豹理所当然的可以夺冠。为了拯救赛车手们，毛毛在赛车手追风的鼓励下挺身而出，不仅驾驶着赛车躲过了猎豹的屡次暗算，还和狗狗们一起救出了其他被困的赛车手，拿到了名副其实的第一名。之后狗狗们受邀来参加公主的生日派对，公主的远房亲戚公爵带着一只宠物鹰不请自来。公主的宠物甜甜和公爵都盯上了锁在保险箱里的巴金堡之宝石。甜甜假借查看宝石为由，骗伯爵打开保险柜，宝石被偷出。没想到公爵利用宝石取得了强大的力量，将整个巴金堡的房子都置于空中，同时也困住了莱德和汪汪队。

The guardians are helpless, but Willy comes up with a daring plan in order to save his home and his trapped friend, Jeremiah Jump. Luckily he is not alone, because Grandpa, the water snakes and the frogs also come to his aid.

　　该系列影片的第5部《Highlander: The Source》也将于今年9月由狮门影业在北美发行。而率先于6月问世的这部动画版则是《Highlander》系列的制作人联手日本动画大师的一次崭新尝试。这部动画由与川尻善昭保持长期合作关系的日本MADHOUSE动画公司和专门发行日本动画的美国MANGA公司联合出品，香港意马动画公司（该公司也参与制作了即将上映的3D动画《少年忍者龟》）参与制作。采用和《吸血鬼猎人D》一样先在美国发行英语配音版、稍后在日本再推出日语配音版的做法，但不知道在日本是否会做剧场放映。
