　　英国电视明星Ross Kemp（出演过Eastenders, Extras）在剧中饰演灵魂人物、硬汉Henno Garvey。出演整四季。参与过1991年波湾战争特别行动Bravo Two Zero的前英国皇家特勤队成员Chris Ryan加盟该剧，担任技术指导，他还在第一集里饰演蓝队的指挥Johnny Bell。他的参与令该剧更有真实感。

　　詹姆斯·基内（塔伦·埃哲顿 饰）出生在芝加哥，是一名警察的儿子。他曾是一名出色的橄榄球球手，并朝着职业道路发展。而他犯的错使他被判10年监禁，无假释机会。检察官给他一个将功补过的机会，但风险很高。有一个叫拉里·霍尔（保罗·沃尔特·豪泽 饰）的人绑架和谋杀了一个15岁女孩，而这个女孩仅仅是他过往杀害的19名女性之一，由于证据不足，霍尔或将被释放，基内的任务就是在狱中让霍尔承认他的谋杀行为。
