　　故事开始于墓地，Horatio Caine正在教堂向神父告解，外面传了一阵枪声...虽然破案，但也为季末做了铺垫。 本季加入了CSIer的一些故事，Eric Delko被牵涉到大麻事件中去，遭到了内务部的调查。Ryan Wolfe一次调查中被针子射伤了眼睛，影响了视力。Horatio Caine因为Eric的事情认识了他的姐姐Mari，最后还结为夫妻。而这一季的主线是实验室里出现了内奸，谁是内奸也搞得实验室里人心惶惶，而这内奸会在第25集里出现。 另外第25集也给下一季做了一个铺垫，因为第1集出现的黑帮向Horatio报仇，射杀了他的妻子，而因为FBI的介入，黑帮份子被押到了巴西，Horatio和Eric为了将他绳之于法，决定也随去。

　　In the fifth season of the British espionage thriller, Harry Pearce and Adam Carter begin to suspect that members of the British establishment are creating a crisis in order to bring about a change of government. In the opening episodes Juliet Shaw encounters a car bomb, and her life is changed forever. Plus we meet former MI-5, turned MI-6 officer Ros Myers (Hermione Norris), who discovers a shocking family connection to the season's game-changing conspiracy.

　　This series is above the expectations they had about it. It is very fast (beyond the tempo of each episode) conflicts are able to develop and resolve in each episode. Which for one as a spectator is very good since the rhythm is never lost.
　　On the other hand, humor management is constant and gives it its point of grace so that conflicts, which are very deep, can occur with a lightness that catches.
　　The chemistry that Paula Usero and Carol Rovira keep in the series is the same as they have in "Love Is Forever" so in just 10 minutes they catch you in a way that when you already see them together you already know that everything will work out , they are the basis of this series and the writers notice that they know it since the series is by and for them.

　　Marci Maven is accused of negligent homicide because her neighbor claims that her dog killed his wife. But she claims her dog died a few days ago. So she turns  to Monk whom she's obsessed with for help. When he refuses to see her, she buys him at a bachelor auction. When Monk tells her what happened and when he looks a things he discovers a few anomalies.

　　Sergeant Maaka and Officers Minogue and O'Leary are members of the Wellington, New Zealand, police. Their job is to investigate paranormal phenomena.
