　　英国电视明星Ross Kemp（出演过Eastenders, Extras）在剧中饰演灵魂人物、硬汉Henno Garvey。出演整四季。参与过1991年波湾战争特别行动Bravo Two Zero的前英国皇家特勤队成员Chris Ryan加盟该剧，担任技术指导，他还在第一集里饰演蓝队的指挥Johnny Bell。他的参与令该剧更有真实感。

　　《至亲血统》讲述佛罗里达群岛一个名门望族的故事。这个家族的四个儿女都已长大成人，其中的长子却被视为害群之马。随着长子的回归，家族的秘密和伤疤将逐渐被揭开。

　　《波士顿法律》不是那么传统的剧集，它是著名法律剧the practice的延伸，但却迅速找到了自己的位置。讲述律师事务所里的众生相以及审判室的诡计和兄弟会男孩的滑稽剧boston legal今年在金球奖最扬眉吐气的，首推以「Boston Legal」拿下影集类最佳男配角的威廉薛特纳，薛特纳过去最让人记得的角色就是《星际旅行:原初系列》(Star Trek:TOS)里的舰长Kirk。

　　剧讲述了历经四代的韩国移民家庭的故事。故事始于一段禁忌的爱恋，并扩展为跨越韩国、日本与美国三地，关于希望与梦想、和平、爱与失落、胜利与算计的史诗传奇。
　　从朝鲜到日本，四代移民家庭的恩怨纠葛，大时代的巨光照在每一个小人物的身上，都留下了一道崎岖的阴影，生生地拖着他们的躯体前行。从1920年日本殖民时期的韩国渔村，到日本大阪，经历了二战和朝鲜战争，一直到90年代末日本泡沫经济时代的横滨和东京乃至纽约。在这样复杂的历史背景下，全剧着重描绘了几代人在家族与故乡、融入与归属、金钱与信仰等一系列问题上的关系与矛盾。

　　HBO新剧《Hung》，中文译名《大器晚成》，这个译名很有神韵，关键在那个器字。Hung的意思是指男性雄壮伟大的器官，所以各位看官应该能心领神会吧？这个剧的看点在于：中年大叔、篮球教练、离婚、拖儿带女、穷困潦倒、无处藏身、胯下巨物，然后理所当然的……大叔卖身做兼职舞男了！
　　不过千万不要以为这是个H剧，实际上它探讨的话题还挺严肃的。特别是在目前全球经济一片不景气的大环境下，这个“性感大叔面临中年危机终于小宇宙爆发，发狠拼命”的剧情，还是很有现实意义的。而且它还是一部黑色幽默剧，再加上男主角是很有爱的Thomas Jane大叔，不辞辛劳的宽衣解带演出多场激情裸戏，简直是大叔控的福音啊。

　　少女媒人基蒂·宋·科维原以为她对爱情所有的细节都了如指掌。但当她飘洋过海与异地男友重聚时，她很快便意识到，当自己真心付出时，感情就会变得异常复杂。

　　该剧讲述了犯罪现场清理员黒箜在清理犯罪现场的时候遇到各路奇葩，通过一种黑色幽默的叙述风格影射了许多如今热门的社会现象，家庭暴力，明星炒作，媒体搬弄是非...初看引人发笑，细想令人深思。

　　《玲珑心计》改编自索娜·沙赖波特拉和多妮尔·克莱顿所著书籍，以一所精英芭蕾舞学院为背景，记录了一群背井离乡的年轻人的起起落落，他们都身处于或成或败的边缘。亚契芭蕾学院是芝加哥唯一的一所精英舞蹈学校，也是该市著名的专业公司 City Works Ballet 的企业学校。亚契学院是各种舞者的绿洲：富人和穷人、北方人和南方人以及拥有不同背景的人。然而，他们所有人都拥有罕见的舞蹈才能和激情、忠诚的社区意识…并且在追求梦想的道路上，他们都没有退路。

　　Michael feels threatened when Ryan returns to the Scranton office to share his ideas about the future of Dunder Mifflin. Jim and Pam's relationship is shared with the entire office, while Angela and Dwight's relationship is on the rocks.

　　Michael throws an extravagant going-away party for Toby, and falls in love with the woman who is replacing him. Jim plans to propose to Pam at the party, but gets out-staged. Back at corporate, Ryan is arrested for fraud.
