　　小巴全家吃素，她有疼爱她的父母及杂食好友小泰。在小巴生日前夕，家里来了不速之客──素未谋面的爷爷、已失联多年的爸爸，自美国返家，闯进她们一家人的生活。爷爷在她生日当天送了她梦寐以求的宠物──小猪仔小诺（虽然她的本意是想要一只小狗）。
　　小诺不太懂事，又是逃家、又是把妈妈的菜园踩得一塌胡涂，暴怒的妈妈想把昂昂赶出家门。为了将它留下来，小巴带小诺去狗狗学校接受训练，爷爷则努力修复妈妈的菜园，两人都希望能够有所弥补。
　　随着小镇第100届「香肠王」杯来临，一向对爷爷有所迟疑的小泰和小巴的姨婆，带来了许多令人不安的消息。事情要追溯到25年前，爷爷有桩未了的事⋯⋯

　　故事讲述两派来到地球后，因为发生了一些“事件”，导致双方外形大变（也解释了两系列风格不同的原因）。也由于这些“事件”，变形金刚要隐藏于人类社会之中。如何去平衡一切关系是擎天柱作为领袖将要面临的考验，本作品的标题也由此而来。

　　悍娇虎（凯瑞·华格伦 配音）少女时候跟着师傅（达斯汀·霍夫曼 配音）辛苦练功，却始终无法得到师傅的认可。终于有一天，强敌野猪来袭，打败了一众高手，几乎无人能敌。混血大师被击败后来到翡翠宫找师傅，希望师傅能阻止野猪，于是师傅答应接受挑战。可是就在比武的前几天，师傅因为吃了阿波（杰克·布莱克 配音）做的饭而食物中毒无法应战，无奈之下指派悍娇虎带着卷轴去寻找神奇四侠，一连串的巧合之下，悍娇虎带回了快螳螂等人，自此故事发生了逆转……
