In Episode 5, Codename: West, a desperate chase is given by The Core and two countries magistrates to catch the new drug lords that are aiming at deluging drugs into Europe's Eastern countries from a former Nazi concentration camp in the West. In Episode 6, A Secret Is Revealed, the detective exposes and destroys the man who secretively had taken the place of octopus' head - but crime will not stop because the criminal's son escapes with enough power to restart it all.

　　每周的第一天到第四天，中年心理医生保罗(加布里埃尔-伯恩 饰)都会在这样的心理咨询室里接待不同却可称为“固定”的四位来访者，每周轮流四次问诊，每次30分钟；周五，保罗会定期约见自己的督导师。
　　在与来访者的互动交流中，保罗与来访者成为朋友，揭开那些有自杀倾向、烟酒成瘾、愤怒或者心虚的来访者心理的秘密，最重要的是在其中保罗也梳理了自己那紧张兮兮、乱成麻的婚姻生活。

该剧讲述了在经济萧条的大背景下，一个工人阶级的家庭，一个经常被发现睡在客厅地板上的酒鬼一家之主，一个不称职的老妈，他们的女儿，18岁的菲奥纳承担下了抚养他5个弟弟妹妹责任，这对她来讲似乎是个不可能完成的任务·热闹非凡的家庭日常生活夹杂着爱情，冒险，欺诈 ,温情等等有血有泪的故事。

　　1950年代，堪萨斯有两大黑帮犯罪团伙，一个意大利裔，一个非裔，总是作对的双方在某时达成了难得的和平。为维持关系，帮派双方头领同意交换各自的小儿子。
　　洛克饰演非裔团伙的老大Loy Cannon，不得不将自己的儿子送到敌人手中，并抚养敌人的儿子。但随后，意大利黑手党的头领进医院做常规手术，却死掉了，于是一切大乱。

《终结者外传》第二季还将继续着上一季的故事，Sarah Connor（Lena Headey饰）将在今天的洛杉矶为人类的未来而战，期望着能阻止不久就将来到的审判日以及改变自己儿子John（Thomas Dekker饰）的命运。
　　随着终结者机器人的不断进化和强化，16岁的John也逐渐开始接受自己作为人类救世主的命运。同时，他还发现自己陷入了两个女孩的中间——一个是被送来保护他的Cameron（Summer Glau饰），漂亮但却可能对John的安全有潜在威胁，毕竟Cameron也是一个终结者；而另一个是John的新朋友Riley（Leven Rambin饰），她的出现似乎象征了John所追求的自由，但同样也可能给John带来威胁。而John的叔叔Derek Reese（Brian Austin Green饰）则继续和他们两母子并肩作战，但似乎Derek已经不那么受欢迎了。
　　另一方面，在和T-888型终结者 Cromartie（Garret Dillahunt饰）面对面并且逃过一命之后，FBI探员James Ellison（Richard T. Jones）开始深信Sarah的那句话：“没有人是绝对安全的。”Ellison探员现在明确了自己的目标，而Catherine Weaver（Shirley Manson饰），一个神秘公司的CEO，很有可能知道在哪里能找到Ellison追求的目标。
　　在第二季，Sarah一家人的生活越来越惊险，因为随着时间的推进，“现在”和“未来”在逐渐的合而为一。在“天网”发现John的行踪之前，Cameron还能保护他们多久？而John一家人能安全无恙么？《终结者外传》第二季将呈现更多的精彩。
