　　一群大学好友拿到了人气音乐节的入场券，他们带上了自己所需的一切准备在音乐节上狂欢。可是世事难料他们因一场交通事故无缘音乐节，只能被迫暂时在一家民宿中过夜。打算在民宿中狂欢一夜的他们却因为一位不速之客的加入陷入了疯狂的噩梦之中。

　　在靠近约翰内斯堡的106号公路沿线，有一片很难引起人们注意的废墟。谁也不知道，这片废墟中正发生着怎样惨无人道的事情。胖胖的雷克斯·道布森（雷恩·麦奎特 Ryan Macquet 饰）、金发女子爱丽丝·埃德蒙斯（克莱尔·奥普曼 Claire Opperman 饰）以及其他 几个人被一个戴着防毒面具的男人囚禁起来，并且遭受了极其残忍的虐待。最终，雷克斯和爱丽丝成为这群人中仅有的幸存者。在刑警詹姆斯（麦克·汤普森 Michael Thompson 饰）的闻讯下，二人分非别叙述了囚禁事件的始末，从刻意回避到遮遮掩掩，再到无奈坦白，在詹姆斯的穷追猛打之下各种细节相继浮出水面。

　　Brandy Kirby and crooked Lawyer Vincent Mailer plan to rob William and Maida McIntyre by producing a convincing double for their long-lost son. Brandy charms gambler Lefty Farrell into impersonating the missing son. Kathy, the McIntyre's niece, who likes Lefty, introduces him to the McIntyres who soon become convinced he is their son, but the old man refuses to change his will. Lefty balks at killing McIntyre and exposes Mailer's attempted swindle. Brandy and Lefty end up together as "two of a kind."

　　"Wild in the Streets" comes from the same school of film making that spawned other attempts to connect to the counterculture such as "Skidoo" and "Candy". The difference between this and the aforementioned films is that "Wild in the Streets" is reasonably clever and well-made. It isn't sympathetic to the counterculture and will likely offend those with fond memories of the time. Surprisingly, it was a big hit when released and appealed to the youth whom it ridiculed so much. Unlike "The Trip" and "Psych-Out" (two other AIP films), its not an accurate representation of the movement at all. However it does work as social satire.
　　The direction by Barry Shear is good and makes innovative use of split screen photography. Plus, he keeps everything moving at a quick pace. In its funny moments, the film works well. In its attempts at drama, its helplessly dated and just as funny as the humorous moments. Christopher Jones underplays his role and Shelly Winters overacts. Hal Holbrook offers the best performance and Diane Varsi achieves the right note of "grooviness". The script by Robert Thom has its moments, especially the ending (easily the most ingenious part of the film). "Wild in the Streets" isn't perfect, but deserves recognition as an interesting misunderstanding of the hallucination generation. Those into this kind of kitsch will enjoy it the most. I'd rather watch "The Trip" or "Psych-Out" however. (6/10)

　　童谣本应该充满欢声笑语，但世界上偏偏有这么一些童谣，让人听了毛骨悚然。小镇拉文斯•法尔就流传着这样一个恐怖的童谣：小心来自玛丽•肖的凝视；她没有孩子，只有玩偶；如果你看到她，不要尖叫；否则她会扯开你的嘴巴撕掉你的舌头。这个小镇一直就在笼罩在这个童谣的诅咒之下，只要有玩偶出现的地方，就有人遇害，死状一样，都是舌头被割下。
　　吉米（瑞恩•科万顿 Ryan Kwanten 饰）和萨丽新婚不久，就决定搬离这个受诅咒的地方，但最终萨丽还是没有逃脱这个诅咒。悲伤不已的吉米决定送妻子的尸骸返回家乡，并着手调查这个笼罩在整个小镇头上的恐怖诅咒。随着调查的深入，吉米发现了这首童谣背后的另一个真相。

　　精明强干的梅瑞特（松佳·里奇特 Sonja Richter 饰）是一名国会的议员，每日过着朝九晚五生活的她再也没有想到，自己竟然会被邪恶的绑匪盯上。更糟的是，这个古怪的绑匪并不要求赎金，而是不断的向梅瑞特提出一个问题，只要答对了这个问题，梅瑞特就能够获得自由，然而，这却是一个梅瑞特始终都无法回答的难题。
　　就这样，梅瑞特一直待在黑暗阴冷的监牢里，随时面临着死亡的威胁。当外界的所有人都坚信她不再可能生还而放弃了寻找解救她的希望是，只有卡尔（尼古拉·雷·卡斯 Nikolaj Lie Kaas 饰）一人坚信，梅瑞特依旧在世界的某个角落等待着他。为了找到梅瑞特，卡尔开始了独自的调查。

　　本片日语片名为西班牙音乐家萨拉塞蒂一九○四年演奏的唱片名,原著是黑泽明绝笔《夕阳正红》主人公、随笔家内田百闲的小说《萨拉塞蒂的唱片》,影片中这张唱片及其音乐出现在主人公青地丰二郎的家中,他那位放荡的妻子放的。青地是陆军学校的德语教师,由清顺所欣赏的中年导演藤田敏八扮演,他身材壮阔,穿着厚重的呢子西装,酷似俄罗斯人。原田芳雄所饰演的浪子中砂与青地算是旧识,但他玩世不恭,似乎没有一点正经,只喜欢追逐女人,也只有女人能让他兴奋起来。两人在旅馆中结识了艺妓小稻,看上去她对青地有意,青地也喜欢她,却不知为什么不肯和她接近,结果让中砂厚着脸皮搞到手了。青地和中砂各有妻子,青地上门做客时,赫然发现中砂的妻子园与艺妓小稻相貌一模一样,均由大谷直子扮演。园也爱上了青地,青地还是不肯接近她,她产下孩子失意而死,小稻很快来接替她成了中砂的妻子。中砂有了温暖的家却心不在此而属意流浪,青地妻子的妹妹在医院中告诉青地,说病中曾见姐姐与中砂在面前有亲热举动。中砂离家流浪,埋在樱花下的沙地里,只露出头,死了,不远处是一男一女两个年幼盲童的歌声。清顺复出后真正完全启用旧班底的本片,很难用语言复述,通篇是用惊人影像营造起来的一个梦境,这梦境有清顺对死亡的幻觉和敬畏,像中砂死在樱花下、埋在沙砾中,像两男一女卖唱行乞的盲艺人,情敌决斗以竹杖相互敲头将对方敲进沙滩的沙屑中,女人弹着琵琶坐着木桶被海水吞没,带着意蕴深远的迷醉情绪;有富于象征性的奇观、恐惧、情欲,以及妖艳的媚笑也复不少,但看的人很难从中理出路数来,不明其所谓,只好去看色彩、布料、置景、道具极度富有的美感和质感,那白色洋房外表、花纹壁纸为里的青地家住宅,还有在砂家青色竹席、总是有火锅热气腾腾日本式住房,极富20世纪10-20年大正时代的特色。将观众的注意力牢固吸引于杰出的形式美,这正是清顺“浪漫三部曲”的目的。
