　　麦斯登饰演朱迪的爱慕对象，看起来很自信也很有逻辑，但其实是一个有着复杂过去的脆弱男人，被朱迪宽阔的胸怀和自由的精神所吸引。阿斯纳饰演的Abe住在朱迪工作的一个生活机构里，他比大多数人都机智敏捷，和朱迪关系甜蜜，经常依靠对方度过生活的波折。
