　　上个世纪4 0年代初，美国在新墨西哥州洛斯阿拉莫斯秘密进行了世界上第一颗原子弹的研制。本剧聚焦投身于这场科学研究中的科学家们——他们才华横溢，却也遍身缺陷。除了要与时间竞赛，还要艰难地在秘密、谎言 和他们身后脆弱的家庭关系间寻找平衡。
　　John Benjamin Hickey扮演主人公Frank Winter，一个才华横溢但是有自毁倾向的物理教授，他奉命主导曼哈顿计划的研发。这项绝密任务不仅将危及他的家庭，还将伤及他的心智。Ashley Zukerman扮演Charlie Abrams，一个聪明绝顶的年轻人，自认为是一个「整天和数字打交道的人」。他的智商高达180，而且很有幽默感。Daniel Stern扮演心理顾问Glen Babbit，负责为参与曼哈顿计划的年轻物理学家们提供心理辅导。他利用自己的智慧和机智小心穿梭于洛斯阿拉莫斯的政治雷区。Rachel Brosnahan扮演来自波士顿的女孩Abby Abrams，她一时冲动同意和丈夫Charlie Abrams来到一个几乎「前不着村后不着店」的地方，但很快意识到这里的生活非常艰难。Harry Lloyd扮演野心勃勃的牛津大学毕业生、物理学家Paul Crosley。当他意识到自己将建造世界上第一颗原子弹时，他对工作的忠诚开始动摇。Katja Herbers扮演Frank Winter教授实验团队的成员Helen Price，是极少数参与曼哈顿计划的女性科学家之一。Christopher Denham扮演物理天才Jim Meeks，应邀加入研制原子弹的绝密项目，是Frank Winter教授实验团队的成员之一。Olivia Williams扮演天才植物学家Liza Winter，有一段非常复杂的历史。她陪伴丈夫Frank Winter（John Benjamin Hickey）来到洛斯阿拉莫斯生活，但她很快发觉这座城市周围的环境出现了异常变化。Alexia Fast扮演Frank和Liza的女儿Callie，虽然只有16岁但非常世故，说话尖酸刻薄。Frank因为工作的缘故三天两头不在家，而且每次都是「神秘消失」，Callie对此充满抱怨。David Harbour扮演多集角色Reed Akley，是洛斯阿拉莫斯最有名的「金童」，领导着超过600名科学家组成的庞大团队。Michael Chernus扮演Frank团队中的科学家Louis “Fritz” Fedowitz。Carole Weyers扮演在洛斯阿拉莫斯工作的电话接线员Elodie，是个法国人。Daniel London扮演曼哈顿计划的主导者、著名理论物理学家奥本海默（Oppenheimer），他当时是洛斯阿拉莫斯实验室主任。
　　《曼哈顿计划》将于2014年7月27日星期天在WGN AMERICA首播。

　　罗蕾莱（劳伦·格拉汉姆 Lauren Graham 饰）未婚先孕，年仅十六岁便生下了女儿洛瑞（阿丽克西斯·布莱德尔 Alexis Bledel 饰），为此，她不惜与母亲艾米丽（Kelly Bishop 饰）和父亲理查德（爱德华·赫曼 Edward Herrmann 饰）决裂，离开了富有的家庭，靠着自己的倔强和努力独自抚养女儿。
　　时间流逝如同白驹过隙，如今，洛瑞已然成为了亭亭玉立的漂亮姑娘，罗蕾莱亦步入中年，幸运的是，独特的成长环境和极小的年龄差距反而让洛瑞和母亲之间宛如朋友，相处起来轻松又自然，同时，品学兼优的洛瑞拥有着考入哈佛大学新闻系的远大理想。亲情，友情，爱情，成长，在每一个人的生命里都留下了无法磨灭的印记。

　　该剧主角布朗夫人是一个满嘴脏话但又无厘头活泼搞笑的曾独自把六个孩子抚养成人的母亲。
　　剧情就从布朗夫人的子女已经成为社会大龄青年但还是和她生活在一起的情况下展开，当然一起居住的还包括布朗夫人的公公。生活中布朗夫人热情搞笑的调侃干扰着她儿子以及身边朋友们的生活，然而这些正是她每天的必修课 ，也正因为这些每天小小无厘头的调侃才组成了该剧的最大看点。
　　《布朗夫人的儿子们》由英国喜剧明星Brendan O'Carroll出演BBC一台该剧中的角色Agnes Brown。此剧在爱尔兰和英国剧场出演时连续数年场场爆满，一票难求。这部六集连续剧仍保留了舞台剧中所有的笑料，惊喜和喜剧效果。
　　剧本是由Brendan特意为BBC所写。
　　英国喜剧明星Brendan O'Carroll出演BBC一台新剧中的角色Agnes Brown。Agnes Brown是全爱尔兰最无厘头最值得骄傲的母亲，她还是一个爱热闹的人，一个满嘴脏话的家长，她干扰着她儿子以及朋友们的生活。

　　在这一集中布朗夫人的麻烦有：Grandad Brown觉得自己是个失败者，儿子Dermot和女友Maria分手了。布朗夫人想让Flynn医生去看看Grandad，她还打算和Maria谈谈，但一切貌似都弄拧巴了。
　　布朗夫人的女儿Cathy是一个心理学学生，她给Dermot和Maria上了一课。但是布朗夫人忽然出现在课堂上并和Cathy吵成了一锅粥。
　　困扰中的Dermot和 Maria忽然意识到自己曾经是多么的固执，他们立刻和好如初。让大家更意外的是他俩订婚了。与此同时，Grandad在医院结束腔体检查时，一项温度读数戏剧性的报错了。

　　故事围绕着五位主角展开。在大学任职教授的泰德（乔什·拉德诺 Josh Radnor 饰）还在感情路上寻寻觅觅，等待真命天女的到来。这天，巴尼（尼尔·帕特里克·哈里斯 Neil Patrick Harris 饰）告诉他一个消息，巨人国家银行委派他设计一座新的总部大楼。几经 考虑后，泰德答应接受这份工作，因此泰德和巴尼成为了工作伙伴。

　　凯瑟琳·海格尔(《实习医生格蕾》《国事家事》)加盟《金装律师》第8季，担任常驻演员，与加布里埃尔·马赫特上演对手戏。此前该剧已宣布准王妃梅根·马克尔和小麦帕特里克·J·亚当斯都不会回归。海格尔将饰演Samantha Wheeler，是Pearson Specter Litt律师事务所的新合伙人，她才华横溢，将挑战现状，要么成为该公司最大的盟友，要么成为最强大的敌人。
　　剧情的基调也会发生改变，此前主要聚焦马赫特饰演的Harvey Specter和亚当斯饰演的Mike Ross之间的男性关系，现在将用其他元素替代。原卡司莎拉·拉弗提、里克·霍夫曼等回归，最新一季加入成为常规主演的杜勒·希尔也会回归。第8季将于4月多伦多开拍，预计年末播出。

　　《法律与秩序：组织犯罪》是《法律与秩序：特殊受害者》的衍生剧，主演是曾在1999-2011年于剧集中演出的Christopher Meloni。Christopher Meloni会在此衍生剧中再次饰演Elliot Stabler，讲述他在纽约警局 领导一支反黑组。
