　　When a copycat strikes, two detectives ask a top serial killer for help.

　　年轻女子米歇尔（玛丽·伊丽莎白·温斯特德 Mary Elizabeth Winstead 饰）不久前刚和男友发生争吵，她夜晚驾车奔驰在黑暗的公路上，突然遭遇严重车祸昏迷过去。当她再度醒来时，发现自己被绑住手脚，关在一个密闭的空间里。少顷，一个健硕冷峻的男子霍华德（约翰·古德曼 John Goodman 饰）走了进来。军人出身的霍华德声称地球刚刚遭遇可怕的生化危机，地球人几乎灭亡殆尽。他在数年前未雨绸缪修建了这个设备、资源齐全的避难所，只为生存下去。避难所内，除了霍华德、米歇尔外，还有另外一个年轻男子埃米特。米歇尔对霍华德的说辞半信半疑，她坚信自己遭到了变态狂的拘禁。

　　犹太天才数学家马克西·米利安·科恩（希恩·格莱特 Sean Gullette饰）痴迷沉醉于数字的世界，他认为一切自然界的事物都可以用数字解释。他潜心研究，试图透过数字推演出种种生命迹象背后的奥秘和规律。可越是逼近答案，他越是无法忍受致命的头痛。他发现了过去十年来股票市场的混乱波动，其实是由背后的一套数学模式在操纵。与此同时，他的研究引来了华尔街股票市场的炒家们和犹太神秘教派的注意。在介乎真实与虚拟的世界中，马克西正在走向疯狂。
　　1996年2月，阿伦诺夫斯基开始筹备这部成本只有六万美元的长片处女作。两年后，《死亡密码》以其新颖的创意和崭新的拍摄手法，一鸣惊人。先是斩获圣丹斯电影节的导演奖，翌年又摘得独立精神奖的最佳编剧处女作奖。2000年，他再次自编自导了《梦之安魂曲》，也赢得了不错的反响。2005年，他还入围“最需要关注的好莱坞100人”。

　　故事讲述一位前科犯人（杰克·莱诺 饰），被迫要跟被收养的兄弟一起逃亡，全然因为他们被一位报复心极强的罪犯（詹姆斯·弗兰科 饰）追捕。而兄弟俩保护自己的方式，就是找到神秘武器。

　　在人类的一项长久的计划中，30个少年被送往一颗新行星居住。但是在他们的船长离奇的死亡以后，年轻的船员们陷入了混乱的局面当中。在屈服于人类原始的兽性之后，这些少年分别集结成了不同的部落。

　　富顿教授（加里·格兰特 Cary Grant 饰）是一位科学家，正在研究一种能够让人返老还童的神奇药物。某一天，富顿用来试验药物的黑猩猩从笼子里逃了出来，在实验室里“大闹天宫”，没想到竟然在误打误撞之下将富顿一直想要研制但始终没有成功的神药给捣鼓了出来。
　　对此一无所知的富顿在偶然间喝下了这种药物，很快，药效便发挥了作用，富顿一反常态，言行举止俨然一幅二十岁小伙子的模样。秘书路易斯（玛丽莲·梦露 Marilyn Monroe 饰）前来拜访富顿教授，没想到却被他邀请去游泳、溜冰。之后，富顿的妻子爱德华（金格尔·罗杰斯 Ginger Rogers 饰）亦误食了药物，一连串让人忍俊不禁的趣事就此展开。

　　电影版《Battlestar Galactica:Razor》，Razor的故事和主剧第三季和第四季并没有时间和剧情上的关系，Razor主要讲的是在战舰Battlestar Pegasus帕伽索斯在到卡拉狄加之前几个月发生的事情。

　　This film has some of the most beautiful imagery and haunting music ever. (Not to overstate it or anything) A three hander set in a post apocalyptic Oz outback (but one which is wildly more fantastical than Mad Max), Spirits of the Air tells the story of Smith, a stranger on the run who happens upon Felix and Betty, far into the desert.
　　All around them are amazing images of cars buried into the ground like totems, huge flags blowing madly in the desert wind and their house itself is of the old oz pioneer style but decorated everywhere with crucifixes. Felix is an inventor obsessed with flight and making a glider, an obsession which has already left him in a wheel chair. Betty is one of the truly great film characters, just an absolute tripper - I can't describe her but the performance is a delight.
　　This is not a fast film, it is not action packed but is intense - the imagery and art direction are beautiful, the writing is distinct and very Australian but still universal, the soundtrack is haunting (a lot of windsound montages with a simple tune used to great effect) and the performances are both real and surreal.
　　Until you see this film (and for those who have enjoyed the increasingly brilliant work of Alex Proyas, you really should) you won't know what you are missing.
