 在第四季中，镇上的居民离他们寻求的答案越来越近，但他们的追寻也变得愈加恐怖。黄衣人是谁，他想要什么？Jade和Tabitha的揭示是否会成为最终回家的关键？即便Boyd的身体和精神崩溃，他还能坚持多久，维持镇子的秩序？而镇上最新到来的居民将在未来的事件中扮演什么角色？第四季将开启一些门，而镇上的一些人最终会希望这些门本该永远关闭。

　　FX于日前正式放行由《宿敌》和《清道夫》编剧Gina Welch执笔的六集限定剧《斯特林韵事》（The Sterling Affairs），并邀请到了《喜新不厌旧》和《汉尼拔》的Laurence Fishburne以及凭借《动物王国》、《乌云背后的幸福线》两度提名的Jacki Weaver领衔主演。
　　故事将以洛杉矶快船队曾经的老板Donald Sterling展开，他在1981年以1250万美元买下这支队伍，但成绩一直未有起色；真正让Donald“为人熟知”的，便是2014年爆发的种族歧视丑闻。在2013年9月与拉丁裔女友争执的过程中，因为不满女友上传了和Magic Johnson的合照，他大放厥词，表示自己“养着黑人，给他们薪水，他们的一切都是我赐予的“；在对话被公开后，这则新闻造成轰动，并且引发抗议。最终Donald被终身竞赛，并被联盟罚款250万美元；而他也被快船队驱除，其后球队易手他人。这之外，Donald还有数段婚外情，和自己的妻子Shelly Sterling展开了接近六十年的拉锯，并最终寻求离婚。
　　此次Jacki将饰演Shelly，而Laurence则会饰演快船队的另一个关键人物- -于1991年加盟并助其闯进季后赛，接着于2013年至2020年执教的Doc Rivers，在种族丑闻的阴影下，Doc继续带领队伍完成了自己的合约。
