　　In a world tormented by the Horror, the citizens of Birdabad accept the egg-eating tyranny of Kondor and his carrion crew as the price of safety. Gathered in exuberant daily ritual around the great Egguilibrium mechanism, which is tended by the silent owl, Hasan, they unthinkingly trade their eggs for fruit. Hupu, a beautiful and reckless young bird, is determined to save her egg from this terrible fate and with the help of Hasan, who is her husband, and a magical seed, she opposes Kondor and disrupts the system. In the wild chase that follows Hupu, Hasan, Kondor and a tiny busy-body chick called Mi, find themselves flung out of Birdabad into the jaws of the Horror. Terrified, confused, murderously angry with each other, this ill-assorted band form a reluctant alliance with a most peculiar guide, who promises to help them get home, if they will help him reach the Sun. 　　Four athletically able teenagers along with their brainy friend Billy are selected by Zordon to fight the evil of Rita Repulsa, her monsters and her minions after the witch is accidentally released from imprisonment in an intergalactic dumpster on the moon. Later in the series, the rangers are joined by Tommy, the once evil Green Ranger designed for Rita's evil, but later was deprogrammed and spent two portions of the series briefly as the Green Ranger. Over time, some rangers had to pass their powers to others as well. Action scenes and scenes with Rita were edited from footage based on Japanese action sagas. 　　飞天小女警有专属的热线电话，市政厅、小橡树幼稚园和基妮老师家里都设有分机。发生犯罪事件时通常是由市长打电话通知飞天小女警。飞天小女警的主旨是“英雄不是绝对的善，坏蛋也不是绝对的恶…因为每个人都有好的本性和坏的本性，只看你怎么选择。
　　结尾画面和结尾语亦为本作之特色，各故事皆有结尾画面和结尾语。大部分的结尾画面为飞天小女警三人，结尾语通常则是“一天又平安的过去了，感谢飞天小女警的努力！”但前两者并非每集皆一成不变；较可能出现的会是解决该集纷争最有助力的人、事、物，而也并非绝对单一个体（也可能复数）。

　　全球范围的追逐行动导致一场大追捕，而何方小姐获得在总部举行派对的奖励，但庆祝活动可能不会持续太久。
　　第2集 护卫队
　　福特西努力将何方小姐和特工飞车手带到安全的地方。既然情报局已经盯上了他们所有人，是时候采取行动了。
　　第3集 逃犯
　　逃亡的队员们面临资金短缺的问题，于是他们用自己最擅长的赛车来赚钱，以支持他们到达墨西哥城。
