　　改编自史提芬京 (Stephen King) 畅销小说人物的 The Dead Zone 是一套集动作、浪漫、超自然及冒险于一身的心理学恐怖片集。
　　Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall 饰演) 于小镇中过着平凡的生活，本身是自然科学教师的他喜欢向学生们展示出大自然的奥秘，在他身边的除了他深爱的未婚妻 Sarah (Nicole de Boer 饰演) 之外，还有以他引以为荣的母亲。Johnny 本拥有着几乎完美的生活，直至某天他发生车祸，使他一直昏迷不醒为止。

Season two will pick up three years after the dramatic conclusion of series one, with Tasha hiding on the island with her daughter Emily, while Jen has moved on and is preparing to get married.
