　　这部4集剧讲述John Darwin伪造自己的死亡，以骗取人寿保险并避免破产。他和妻子Anne Darwin串谋，说服保险公司John Darwin独自去乘皮划艇时失踪，并得到超过25万英镑保险金。
　　当时债台高筑的Darwin家已经有抵押贷款，还刷爆了13张信用卡，共欠下6.4万债务，当时Anne想申请破产，但最终被丈夫说服实行这看似荒谬的计划；但这计划成功实行长达5年，甚至骗过了两名儿子，得到保险金的John及Anne后来搬到巴拿马去，直至07年John Darwin在伦敦现身才被揭发。

当汉娜的儿子雅各布卷入了一场严重的车祸，并声称他记得自己早年作为一架失踪客机的飞行员的生活时，三个女人的生活发生了翻天覆地的变化。

　　该剧最后一季，Gallagher一家和邻里糟乱、热闹，丧又不乏温暖的生活故事将走到尽头。

　　凯丽·拉塞尔与马修·瑞斯将带着《美国谍梦》第四季在3月16日回归，这一季的焦点落在生物武器的威胁与对钱宁夫妇秘密的挖掘之上。制作人乔尔·菲尔德表示，电视评论家建议他与制作人乔·韦斯伯格，就目前的剧情发展来说，是时候考虑结束了。

Mark (James Donald), having feelings for Stella, stays by her side, a close friend and nothing more. Forty years later, still trying to get over the news of the accident, Stella learns that the glacier has moved. Hiring a crew to help prospect her husband out of the ice, they find the body preserved and untouched. Stella views the body of her husband one last time.
