　　第二季将描述该剧的核心主题：为什么古人当初要发射命运号？为什么命运号沿着既定的路线前进？这个路线是怎么确定的？根据剧组的描述，其实命运号有特定的目的地，命运号的任务「非常重要」，远比「将船上的人送回家」重要。不过，完成这项「新任务」的条件之一，就是将船上的人「顺道」送回家。
