《荒野求生秘技》（Man vs. Wild）又称《荒野求生》，是美国探索频道制作的一档写实电视节目，由英国冒险家贝尔·格里尔斯主持，每集他会走到沙漠、沼泽、森林、峡谷等危险的野外境地，在极为恶劣的环境下，为脱离险境，设法寻找回到文明社会的路径。
故事开始于墓地，Horatio Caine正在教堂向神父告解，外面传了一阵枪声...虽然破案，但也为季末做了铺垫。 本季加入了CSIer的一些故事，Eric Delko被牵涉到大麻事件中去，遭到了内务部的调查。Ryan Wolfe一次调查中被针子射伤了眼睛，影响了视力。Horatio Caine因为Eric的事情认识了他的姐姐Mari，最后还结为夫妻。而这一季的主线是实验室里出现了内奸，谁是内奸也搞得实验室里人心惶惶，而这内奸会在第25集里出现。 另外第25集也给下一季做了一个铺垫，因为第1集出现的黑帮向Horatio报仇，射杀了他的妻子，而因为FBI的介入，黑帮份子被押到了巴西，Horatio和Eric为了将他绳之于法，决定也随去。
