　　这是香港70年代的典型武打搞笑片。老千邓国文（许冠文 饰）经常出入于监狱，狱中无聊时，他经常会表演一些自己的千术以资同仓的犯人解闷。犯人刘俊杰（许冠杰 饰）对国文的千术十分佩服，希望出狱后能和他一起合作挣大钱。国文并没有答应，因为老千一般都独来独往。
　　两人出狱后，俊杰组织了一帮老千和国文对赌，国文通过一早买通在场的舞女佩佩将他们击败。俊杰更加佩服国文，再次提出两人合作。国文抵不住他的死缠烂打，终于应承了。两人计划向城中恶霸大哥全下手，为了筹集赌资，他们还参加了电视台的有奖游戏，国文凭借聪明的头脑顺利的赢下了奖金。和大哥全对赌的日子到了。

　　年轻的摄影师郑义梦想着一夜成名，但他在实现“梦想”的道路上屡次碰壁，机缘巧合下他住进养老院，并与养老院的“四大天王”之间发生了一段啼笑皆非却又感人落泪的故事。

　　和叔叔婶婶一起生活的瑞克（德雷克•贝尔 Drake Bell 饰）算得上是一个标准的失意路人甲了，他暗恋同班的邻家美女吉尔（萨拉•帕克斯顿 Sara Paxton 饰），但在吉尔狂妄的男友兰斯面前却感到自己毫无机会。在班级旅行中，瑞克一班人参观了动物基因实验室，擅于把所有事情搞砸的瑞克被经过基因改造的蜻蜓咬啮，从此拥有了超人的能力：不死之身外加具有吸附力的身体。与此同时，兰斯的叔叔兰德斯（克里斯托弗•麦克唐纳 Christopher McDonald 饰）掌控的医疗中心正在加紧研制人类基因改造技术，罹患绝症的兰德斯借助该技术令自己获得新生，但代价是吸取别人的生命才能维系自身存活。瑞克经历了超人学院后勉为其难开始了自己的城市英雄生涯，他与代号“沙漏”的恶徒兰德斯之间必有一战……

　　如何对心仪的他或她正确的表达出心中所想，且被成功接受，这是个困扰无数陷入爱情漩涡中男男女女的问题。而“大鼻子情圣恋爱操作团”则专门为应对这个问题而诞生。其创始人邴勋（严泰雄 饰）之前经营剧团，相信爱情也可以按照剧本有条不紊的进行。恋爱操作团接到的第一个任务被顺利完成。从打造男主角的形象，到摸清女主角的想法喜好，最终帮助男主角告白成功。一切都在设定的剧本里。紧接着，恋爱操作团迎来的另一位顾客尚勇（崔丹尼尔 饰），他心仪的女孩熙中（李敏贞 饰）恰巧是邴勋的前女友。于是难题展开，一方是自己的顾客，应该竭尽全力的服务；另一方面，看着自己的前女友和别人愈走愈近，邴勋心里很不是滋味。设定的剧本没有了存在的意义，原来恋爱无法操作……
　　该片翻拍自法国同名电影《大鼻子情圣》，而其灵感则来自于法国作家罗斯丹的名剧。

　　一直以来，宝拉（玛莎·马森 Marsha Mason 饰）都带着女儿露西（奎恩·库明斯 Quinn Cummings 饰）和男友一起过着同居生活，一天，宝拉震惊的发现，男友不仅不辞而别，还将宝拉最后的庇护所——他们的房子租给了另一个陌生的男人艾略特（理查德·德莱福斯 Richard Dreyfuss 饰）。
