该电影由郭景泽导演执导，是郭景泽导演继《长沙里》后的新作。电影讲述2001年弘济洞火灾惨案中，消防员在恶劣环境下，只有一个目标——扑灭火灾、全员救援的故事。

　　讲述的是宫本武藏和兵法名宿吉冈家族对决的故事，由动作片演员坂口拓饰演宫本武藏，山崎贤人饰演武士“忠助”——率领吉冈一族100人和其他流派的300人，为好友吉冈清十郎复仇，讨伐宫本武藏。
